religion doesn't really matter when u luv someone except u didn't have any love or genuine interest in her.

She is a strong lady to have admitted her true nature to you on time. Traditionalists are not as people put them to be, they are not evil neither bad. My grand father was an army General and a Traditionalist, but he was more righteous and upright than anyone have ever seen or known before.

Really, they worship reptiles? Oga I no believe this, I heard of rivers, lake, even some Yorubaland worship rivers or lake, gods, devil. But you saying Igbo culture is alien to Christianity and they are still worship all you mentioned in this 21st century, should be the lie of this century. I know and have seen many Igbo Christians who are so devoted, some are even deeper life churches members and Catholic members and Pentecostal churches or Methodist. Here's why, Christianity has a Bible that every Christian can have access to and learn more about God's teaching. With that, you know when a preacher has gone off point.

Unfortunately, you can't say this of the so-called African traditional practice as there are no established rules that guide them. What constitutes African traditional practice is subject to the machinations of the practitioners. That's why people bury kings with human heads and call it tradition.

I don't hate ezenwanyi, but I don't like people who are deeply rooted in any form of religious practices, be it Christianity or islam or traditional practices. Such people often tend to lose their logical reasoning and as such everything is always a spiritual battle.
We were raised not on fasting and prayers, but on discipline and good morals and I appreciate my parents each day for that.
Often times, overly religious people are backwardly and with too much negative energy.
