If the Naira appreciates significantly against the dollar, some of our dollar earning stocks will suffer. Eg. SEPLAT, PRESCO etc hmm its good to watch the dollar as we watch our stocks too.

The price of Presco products are expected to increase by about 30% in USD due to demands, apart from that Okomu and Presco are also increasing their capacities

No one will ever talk bad about a stock he or she is fully loaded in . If I have 400M in Ellah , I will always preach Ellah and attack anyone that talk bad about Ellah. If I have 400M in Nahco, Presco or Wapco , you will be my enemy if you say anything negative about any of these companies

From Transcorp to Ellah to Oando to Wapco to the banking stocks to Seplat to Cadbury etc I made money from members' marketing. So pls let the marketing continue. It is up to me to do further research and benefit from the marketing.

So you think anyone will put his or her own interest below yours on a faceless forum. Trust me brother, if anyone on this forum preaches any stock , he or she is already loaded in that particular stock , hustlers , Ogas , anyone. Whatever gain you make is top up to them . I've been a player in this game for more than 20 years . The OGs know I'm saying the truth.

This is just your summary and i believe you. Everyone is marketing his or her own stock because NSEMPA has the market. If everyone here is convinced by a member to buy a junk stock, because of the population we have here, you will see quantity traded and price movement will follow. The promoters of the stock will cash out leaving you to tie your hard earned money in junk. If you have anyone here playing the role of a good Samarithan then he is charging money in another forum for his wealth of knowledge. There is nothing free anywhere, even in Freetown. The level of insider trading going on in the Nigerian stock exchange is alarming! All those who work there and in the quoted companies, are deeply involved in this!
Before a company's result comes out, they've already seen it, and the price have moved far even before it becomes public.

I actually share your opinion as well.
Insider tradings is to much in NSE

You see why I always try to watch and observe volumes in the market, as well as the direction it's tilting......
Though sometimes you can't even predict if they're actually running or rushing in, but it at least gives an idea that something is happening or about to happen in that particular stock.

I wish I bought more than I did. I gambled on this stock earlier on at N40 it has done more than 30% thus far. I now expect even more than another 30% with this result.
Q3 will be a game changer if they maintain this rate of recovery. Revenue by q3 should match the entire revenue from last year.

After the price has moved like 50percent then, they release results and start dumping on gullible investors.

Insider trading is a form of market abuse. It is criminalized in all financial markets. Many big time investors and corporate executives have gone down because of their involvement in insider trading in the west. The challenge in Nigeria is lack of will power on the part of the SEC to bring the offenders to book. I am optimistic SEC will wake up to their responsibility as many knowledge investors start voicing out against the scourge as you have done here.

It is almost impossible to stop insider trading on NSE. From the guys in the company that prepare the result, to the auditors and company executives etc that audit and scrutinize the result, to the Board members that approve the result, up to the Staff at NSE that recieve the result. In some cases, the regulators too(Like CBN etc) that often keep the result for over One month in the name of checks and regulation. All of these people may take advantage.
There is so much exposed and likelihood of insider trading, but we still make little profit here and there. That is why I laf at pple here accusing some members her of insider info. Before those pple here even get the said info, the main insiders have already taken position and what they here are mere rumours which sometimes turn out not to be true. That's why the TA people make more profit cos they watch volume movement and guess when insiders are trading
