Shalom428:The bolded seems an unfair statement to people here. There are so many businesses out there that many people are doing and making fortunes, that they will not want you to know about it, probably because they may not want you to be as rich as they are. But reverse is the case here. The fact that someone see value in a stock and draw the attention of others to it after buying, simply mean that the person is not greedy but want you to also benefit from the largesse. Besides, the information that many dishes out here can rarely be seen, even from those that collects money to dish out stock recommendation to you. Let us not discourage people from doing their best to enrich others on this platform with our utterances please. |

Yoursfaithful:Your are glamourizing mediocrity! ![]() Loss is loss, whether small one or big one. ![]() The group reduced half year loss is 22 billion Naira. It made massive loss in Q1 and it made profit in Q2. To me this is a mediocre result. ![]() Why should I buy a loss making company when there are companies that have never made a single loss in the past 10 years? ![]()

Mpeace:Gbam. You hit the nail smartly on the head. Even, majority of those complaining here about insider trading will do worse if they are in the position of those they are accusing of insider trading now. Please tell me, from where do they think the Elumelu wife and family got their information from before accumulating transcorp shares when it was trading around N1? If not from the CEO himself. Is that not an indirect way of Insider trading? |

Pennystockwarri:they also declared bonus of 1 for 5 and this video did not mention that along side. That is 20% if u do the maths, apart from the dividend so i think it is a buy and not a hold |

EDUECO:Your banking stocks weren't a profit making organizations all through from inception..am sure at one time they were going through some financial challenges and here we are today. You need to know when to key in the market especially when you're sure of a company's prospect in future. Oh you expect me to key in when they start reporting massive profit and price is almost 200naira then right.. |

LEARN TRUTH Larry Ellison, co-founder of Oracle, just became the second-richest person in the world with a net worth of $291 billion, pushing past Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg to sit just behind Elon Musk. But long before either of them topped the rich list, Ellison was one of the few who publicly defended Musk during a time when almost everyone else was tearing him apart. Musk reposted a video to X last October of Ellison speaking on stage with the caption, "Larry Ellison is awesome." The clip came from a 2018 keynote where Ellison called out the people who said Musk didn't know what he was doing. "You're saying Elon's an idiot. The guy's landing rockets. And who are you?" That line still circulates because Ellison wasn't just being dramatic — he was mocking the very real narrative at the time. He said people were writing Musk off like he was clueless. Then he imitated one of them. "Elon doesn't know what he's doing, he'll have to go out for money," Ellison said. "I'm really smart. I work for The Wall Street Journal." He followed it up by questioning the entire premise. "Who are you? This guy's landing rockets. You know, he's landing rockets on robot drone rafts in the ocean. And you're saying he doesn't know what he's doing? You ever land a rocket? You're telling me he's an idiot? I just want to know who you are so I know why I should believe you as opposed to my friend Elon." In 2019, Ellison revealed he had invested $1 billion in Tesla. He later joined the board. While others were betting against Musk, Ellison was investing in him. He called him a friend, and more importantly, he backed him when almost no one else would. Years later, the facts speak for themselves. SpaceX dominates the global launch market. Falcon 9 rockets return from orbit and land on drone ships with routine precision. Starlink is providing global satellite internet. Starship is under development for interplanetary missions. Meanwhile, Bezos's Blue Origin finally launched its long-awaited New Glenn rocket in 2025. It reached orbit. But the booster failed to land. That's the contrast Ellison pointed out before it was obvious. In 2025, Musk appeared on the "Verdict with Ted Cruz" podcast and was asked to name the smartest CEO he's ever met. He said, "Larry Ellison is very smart. I will say Larry Ellison is one of the smartest people." The admiration goes both ways. And so does the track record. One made the rockets land. The other called it before anyone else.

A goal from another company but not a very neat goal yet like we say those days as kids in football match. I expect a very neat goal by yr end.I was right on this one again...sugar. I remembered how me and my guy then draged this one on revaluation surplus on full yr result. I said they technically did not make loss. While it is past now.Though some people still made better opportunity cost including him by pulling out. Then moving to other stocks that have delivered better returns as per percentage. I have had emotional attachments since I bought sugar at ipo. After I missed the opportunity when it got to #80 to rebalance to another stock.I have stopped emotions to any stock in this business..lol. It will achieve #100 in the near yrs if it continues with this progressive results. It could likely move back as retirement stock in my portfolio once again. Looking forward to them starting paying dividend like in the past in 2 or 3 yrs time again |

megawealth01:Transcorp need to move. How can it's subsidiaries like transpower and Transhotel be selling way way over the parent company. Elumelu even said he will soon list the second power genco(transafam) subsidiary of Transcorp. Transhotel market price is also expected to continue the rise with recent developments, yet Transcorp just dey struggle. |

EDUECO:There is a lot of gap in your investing knowledge, there is difference in accepting you don't know, knowing and willingness to know what you don't know, you failed at everything. You only believed in only your view because you see it as the best. Even buffet admitted he failed to realize the prospect of tech companies on time. The same reason dangote is poor compared to Zuckerberg despite his years in business before Zuckerberg came to limelight. Everything is about perspective and willingness to learn new things. What you know could be making money but what you don't know could make you more. What is the Genesis of dangotesugar loss in the first place? Is it a sectorial issue or not? Was it a good company before that? Answering the above questions will make you appreciate the board. I'm curious to know wat you would have done differently if found in the same shoe. Well I said it last month that dangotesugar will be out of loss this year and I gave my reasons. No any surprises for me. |

EDUECO:They are all going to declare good Q2 and half year result. ![]() Stanbic bank and WEMA will also declare good result. Even FirstHoldCo that has been gereguralized will also declare good result; but I am not sure the good result will translate to good dividend. |

ndept:That’s a wrong example of insider trading as such trading were fully reported for us all to see and make whatever meaning we want to make of it. By either joining in buying or watching like a spectator. Also such trading is often restricted to periods after the results have been released while trading is not permitted for them while results are being compiled and vetted. |
