Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by PuristForest:
bumped into this report published by kpmg recently, of 47 surveyed countries on trust, attitude and use of ai, Nigeria just keeps making the top tables in many of the surveys. tbh im not sure what to make of it, however, i feel most concerned about is the perception of trustworthiness of ai systems amongst nigerians and this can be a trojan horse to easily control the narrative within a nation. Whilst data is a commodity and countries are building more data centers, we have ultimately remained consumers and have little future in shaping the future of ai as a whole. https://assets.kpmg.com/content/dam/kpmg/th/pdf/2025/07/trust-attitudes-and-use-of-ai-global-report.pdf

Walahi I thought APC sabi propaganda till I listened to the balablue of Ellahkpakus egm

Ogas bought at 2.8 and pumped to dump above #10.They could not tell shareholders how much was the specific loan they provided

They said they want to raise 250 billion but refused to specify what they are buying. All they came for was just to pass resolution by yeye shareholders and proxy. They didn't even specify if thr will be RI for existing shareholders.

You want to answer questions and give clarification after you have passed resolutions. So what use is the questions coming later and written on paper. They will only be good for dustbin.

The management did not say the present position of mill they promised to commission last month.

You talked about 500k hectares of farm and didn't bring video evidence. You claimed you have spent few billions on it

You gave shareholders 3 page of document with nothing really inside as stated by someone in the meeting.

One member here claimed the have already raised the money. I didn't hear such pronouncement in the meeting. Next month I go drag that member and kpakus like tiger generator.

The insiders and thr gang here don cash out on some innocent investors...na me talk the unspeakable

I didn’t listen to the AGM—I’ll do so later. But my question is: are these other guys, like JideFlash and KarlTom, stupid for reporting that the resolution vote happened today? Or is it now the new normal for a conversion that was supposedly done long ago—according to you—to just be getting a resolution today from EllahLakes? The way you defend stocks sometimes is honestly funny. But hey, keep doing you. grin grin grin
In the spirit of fairness (I stand to be corrected though), that huge amount was invested by some people when the share price was around 280k. Therefore, the equity needs to be converted as same amount. The question I always ask myself is: If I am the one that invested that huge amount at that very time, will I not make a case for it to be converted at the prevailing share price on the day I invested it.

That's not what I'm asking. Are EllahLakes shares going to be further diluted with the issuance of new shares or not? One billion new shares is no small matter—especially considering they might want to offload some at the current high price.

Once the agreement has been concluded and signed, I don't think it will be okay to want it done at the prevailing price ......
What was the exchange rate that time, what is it now?
Also, if to say the share price had tanked, will they agree to add to the invested fund?
I however think it even pays more that their invested fund has yielded over 200% in profit...
Just my opinion

* One thing I know is that the shares has long been listed on NGX, what's happening now might just be a formality.

It is their investment/money. They can do anything with it, either sell/hold. It is normal and a free market. If there is value in Ellah, those that see the value will pick it up and if it is contrary, market will do justice to it. But then, I can understand your concern that the company shares will be over bloated.

I don't know why most persons fear dilution; dilution is not the issue, the issue is poor earning power of the company involved! cheesy

Is like saying can Aliko Dangote cater for 1000 offsprings through sperm donation in order to produce more babies in 2026? The answer is yes,Aliko Dangote has the financial capacity to do it.But a man earning 2 million Naira per month cannot try it. grin

Tell us what kpakus want to do with 250 billion and win a prize on ngx..lol

If a company refuses to disclose what it want to do with 250 at egm.At what meeting or point in time is the company suppose to tell the owners of the business what they want to do with the money
Why is this kpakus all about secrets.
So how do I gauge if what you want to do with the 250 billion will bring returns, over valued or against my religious acceptability.

You just come to get resolution and say thank me later with what I will do with the money ...haba now

Thank you.

I just wonder who these people are, they are sitting on gold mine.
If what they said they have are true, use drones, take aerial photographs and videos of the farm, of the mill, do a documentary, get a public image company to do a beautiful documentary and brochure for the company, report where you are, share plans and visions of where you want to be, tell people what you need to get there and what is in it for them if they support you, embark on promotions, use social media networks to reduce the cost of advertisement and packaging.

The share price will be 10x, local and foreign capital will chase them, banks and even government and everybody will be happy with them. You can do all these and more with less than N100m

.... what do I know? Can we even say they believe in the vision of the company themselves?

I understand you, but in this context, is dilution really a good thing for EllahLakes?

Even Dangote would struggle with 1,000 children—in that 1,000, you'd find everything from scammers, transgenders to troublemakers to all kinds of characters. I don’t think that helps anyone. grin grin grin

I don't have issue with the raising of funds since the company is still in its foundation stage. cool

But I think the company's integrity is question able. embarassed

It is not good because of the very poor earning capacity of the company.

Dangote is a billionaire in US Dollar and can cater for 10,000 offsprings in 2026. grin

Dangote can raise the babies from infancy to adult hood. The personality of the children has nothing with being able to feed them from infancy to adult hood cool
