Sunrisepebble:They will also be converting loans owed to related parties to equity through the rights. The release referred to a court case where some persons asked the court to nullify the AGM held last year. Presco is also seeking to prevent those persons from acquiring the company shares (page 5, note n). Any idea who those parties might be. Not sure it's in the news. |

I just hope that NASCON’s Q2 results will be strong. The share price dipped slightly today, which might reflect market caution ahead of tomorrow’s board meeting. Fingers crossed for a positive update that restores some momentum. ![]() |

Princkez:There is a huge oil plantation in Imo state, one of the largest in the country. It's currently being mismanaged by government officials of Imo state. Maybe they want to buy it from the governor. That's the one I know that might be worth that price. It's called Ada Palm plantation. You can Google it. It has good videos online. |

Divineability:Oga that farm is older than me. Nobody will sell it.It is not drain to imo state. You can say it is not bringing the right revenue to imo state. It is the legacy of our hero past.It is my state |

Divineability:There is no sentiment in business. Presco and Okomu were loss making and needed subsidy from the government. But when they were privatized they became profitabie, created employment opportunities and are the biggest tax payers to Edo State government |

Streetinvestor2:When sold, the plantation will not be carried away from your state. It will still be there, but this time well managed, providing jobs for your present and future generations, and tax revenues for your government tiers. The loot from the sale will not be looted by your governor, local govt chairmen and their gangs, I sincerely promise you. The revenue will be used judiciously to do health, education, infrastructure etc for your present and future generations, pls rest assured. ![]() |
