Here is a summary of the MTN Nigeria Communications Plc condensed consolidated and separate financial statements for the six months ended 30 June 2025:

•Revenue: N2.38 trillion, up 54.5% from N1.54 trillion in H1 2024.

•Operating Profit: N892.8 billion, a 193% increase from N304.5 billion in the prior period.

•Total Equity: Improved substantially to a net equity position of -N42.5 billion versus -N458 billion at end-2024.

•Assets: Total assets grew to N4.77 trillion from N4.20 trillion (Dec 2024) driven by increased property and equipment and right-of-use assets.

•Capital Expenditure: N382.5 billion on property and equipment; N97.2 billion on right-of-use assets; N59.8 billion on intangible assets.

•Segments:

•Consumer Business Unit revenue was approximately N1.95 trillion.

•Enterprise Business Unit revenue grew to N337.2 billion.

•Wholesale Business Unit revenue was N93.5 billion.

•Employee Costs: Increased to N54.7 billion from N43.5 billion.

•Finance Income: N14.4 billion.

•Finance Costs: N279.7 billion, including lease-related interest expense.

•Taxation: Effective tax rate was 33.3%, with total tax expense of N207.4 billion.

•Cash Flow: Operating cash flow was approximately N955.7 billion; investing outflows of N642.8 billion; financing outflows of N310.9 billion.

•Key Investments: Includes mobile financial services subsidiaries and infrastructure upgrades funded partly by government grants and loans.

•Financial Position: The company remains focused on capital structure optimization, funding diversification, and compliance with loan covenants.

I bought it as its 52 weeks high . Its book value enticed me and I didn't bother to check other factors. I am selling part and take my loss for liquidity while I will leave the rest for long term. I believe something good will happen to the firm if they can do something to their debt.
