At what point, did you realize you were getting old 👀

This night o... After reading this post my eyes just opened wah

I went to my university to request for my degree transcripts and everyone in the university looked like a JS3 student. I was surprised how come everyone so small, during my days, university students were bigger. Hehehehe

Since like 5 years ago, and is not funny o, i vein don dey show 4 leg

One Saturday morning,I say make I join some guys play football smol,as ball start,I no see ball Play,so I say abeg I wan play midfielder,dem oblige me,yet I no fit see ball,I changed to seven,d worst,I play 2,na so this smallar dem dribble me score,.Na that time I realised say, my engine don lose alignment,

Couple of years ago or so, was brushing my beards in the morning on my way to work when I noticed a single strand of grey hair. My mind was so unsettled all through that day

Imagine grey hair when things never soft but then when there's life we can be rest assured there's still hope.....

Everything started in 1970 after the Nigerian Civil War. I just knew I wasn't a baby anymore.

no my dear, wen we enter uni u go see ur elder brothers n ur father age in ur lecture hall but na 16 years plenty never reach 20 years forcing biabia to come out

When I ask of this person (decades my elder),dem go say e don die.
I ask another again (a bit younger),dem say e don die again.
I call one of childhood friends,na me senior am.E say e nor well.I think say na the normal or common malaria/typhoid sickness.
I ask wether e don take medicine.E mind rush to what I had in mind.E say no na high blood pressure.
E shock me again!
I tell am make e take medicine.
HBP medicine nor cost much.
Na there I know say oldi don dey reach me small small.
But when you see me I look extremely younger than my age.In fact,that guy above looks older than me but na me senior am.

Let me advise una:
Think less.
Avoid refined sugar.
Minimize food wey get refined or synthetic sugar.
Minimize alcohol.
Drink clean water
Avoid seed oil
Avoid fried food.
Eat protein always (plant and animal)
Eat chicken breast and grass fed beef regularly.
Fruits.
Let your food be 90% what you can plant.
Minimize dead food
Be active physically.
Be around lively and happy people.
Live within your means.
Never regret, take am, as you see am.
Be unique and never get jealous.
Do something that's harmless and makes you happy.
Love but nor carry am for head.


Finally, pray let God make you reach as from 80 years and above wiith good health.


Na so I see am

My father who was the leader of my clan died about 20 years ago; my only surviving paternal uncle died about 5 years ago.

As the first child among my cousins the leadership mantle fell upon me...now I'm the one who makes extended family decisions, when people have quarrels or financial challenges in the family they look to me to provide a solution.

This was when I realized that I'm not longer young

When ladies in my area start referring to me as sir after greeting me. In Joey’s voice “God please don’t do this to us, don’t let us get old 😭😭😭”.

When i stopped using sugar and avoiding carbonated drinks.

After i heard the small boy back then in my street, that i usually send to buy something /keep the change, he was on a call "howfar that mama don drop the $5000 slip"

It's certainly the day I received a letter from my child's school for PTA.
It dawn on me that I am no more a kid and I need to buckle up for life challenges ahead.

I went to buy food at a canteen , the young lady said in yoruba " Daddy what do you want to buy"

I just turned 28 and honestly I feel really old. Just yesterday I was 22.

You nor sabi play normally, ronaldo is over 40 and still balling. Age doesn't reduce your ability

😅😅😅. I still dey tumble teenagers upandan oo. Just make sure ur tummy no big. U go dey play ball wella. Slim people like me no dey old ..

When people far older than me started calling me ẹgbọn.

Some kids calling me Daddy when I am still single.

I was like, "Chaiii....na be be dis? Daddy, ke?"

From the replies here, it's obvious external conditions are required to make a person feel old.

You don't actually feel old, but changes in the way people relate to you make you feel old.

It's an offer you can refuse to internalise.
