Is it ok to now finally say that the ENI acquisition by Oando has failed to affect its top and bottom lines? It is now 4 quarters since the acquisition.

Has anyone done an analysis of CWG's performance? the numbers don't look so good.
On the contrary, The numbers looks good with half year eps standing at N1.40 from 70k in 2024. Revenue grew by 50% year on year.Profit after tax grew by about 105%. Operating expenses didn't swallow all profit this is presently a well managed company and one stock to watch.

I topped up the units i bought at N9 yesterday at N19 . I see the stock settling at N25-N30 in the medium term.

Probably Just as someone has been saying about the Shell acquisition by seplat.
Tax issues, realignment of interest with locals for smooth operations, etc.

Probably will take a while..just saying.

Consolidated Hallmark and Royalex are holding companies though listed in different sectors of NGX.

With the latest results of both companies,I expect Royalex to rise to meet consolidated or consolidated Hallmark will descend to meet Royalex @ sub N2.

Both stocks should be rubbing shoulders until another result surface which I think Royalex will break another record.

Today is Friday, let the demand for Royalex close the stock in green zone for the week.
It's really a good time for Royalex

Happy new month

From the Oando result, you can see that Oando's liabilty is so big when compared to its asset. sad

That is why I always go for best managed companies because I don't have time to waste with mediocre companies. cool

Are there commissions or fees to be paid when a rights issue is exercised?

At the current share price, UBA is cheaper in the open market than the rights issue.

I wonder if that changes when transaction charges are considered?

It's not a game. Start from a change of mindset. You are buying into the ownership of companies to share in their profits or gains if you pick rightly ( identify value) through research and learning, or losses if you don't; except by His Grace.

Invest in knowledge while using small amounts to master the ropes. Read at least ALL the previous posts of this year to understand how things flow. Pay attention to Pa Emma, he is not Pa for nothing, Agba…., yMcy, Megawealth...never get tired of his use of intentional, Sunrisepepple.. the ace of insider info, Gina/chimex...they know how to apply caution, KarlTom…our accurate time keeper with analysis as sharp as a razor, and so many others. Never buy at the top, buy when the product is cheap or not expensive. EPS/RSI will help you figure that out…. It's not called a market for nothing. Buy when the products( stocks) are on sale…just as you would on Oyigbo, Ogbete, Onitsha, Shoprite, Liverpool Street, Oxford Street, Macy's, etc.
Happy investing.

Yes. H1 not really bad but the Q2 is disturbing. What could make cost of sales overshoot revenue? What sort of inefficiency is that?
I read through the report to see if they have a note of explanation for that bloated cost of sales but couldn't find any.

I read through the report to see if they have a note of explanation for that bloated cost of sales but couldn't find any.
Sometime last year, they stated they were investing in AI to reduce exploration or rigging cost. They know it's an issue.
I just hope it's part of their CAPEX this year so as to increase bottom line upcoming years.
