Biometrics- 17th July 2025
Empty Nsf- today 4th August 2025
School resumption date- 7th September 2025 that is Nothingham Trent University, Program is PGCE in physics

I’m really worried because his school’s resumption date is fast approaching and we were really looking forward to a decision mail in our 15 w. days wait but now that we have gotten an NSF
a) how long are we to wait again? If you have gotten a decision after an empty nsf how long did you wait?
b) should we contact the school that their might be a delay?
c) When should we do a paid call/mail
d) He’s got a 9 year study gap; he graduated from Futo in 2016, started masters in 2018, dropped out in 2020 due to strike, Covid and financial hurdles, then he became self employed and started driving a cab for business, sold fairly used cars and home lesson.
If he’s to get another nsf asking for additional documents to explain study gap(they haven’t asked him yet I’m just preparing ahead, in case they do ask him), how do we explain this kind of study gap?
from the other posters here I read that he’ll need his
NYSC cert - we have it
reference letter and employment letter - this kind of jobs he’s done how can he go about the reference and employment letter since he was self employed.
Pay slips- he doesn’t have pay slips because of the nature of his jobs ; cab driving, car sales and home lessons)
What of the masters he did during his study gap? Is it ok to mention that? I’m not sure. I hope we won’t be shooting ourselves in the foot by mentioning it since he didn’t complete the masters.
He is fully funded by the England’s department for education for PGCE in physics(lucky him). But na this visa junction won spoil show now( I really hope not)
Please I need y’all suggestions on this matter. Oh,
NB; his colleague that he was on this journey with- Same school, same conditions, same department for education funding same biometrics venue who did his biometrics on 16th July has gotten success mail on 21st July(I’m happy for him) But Why is my hubby’s own now delaying like this?

Biometrics on 16th july and got an email on the 18th July that they are still processing the application and aims to make decisions within 15 working days..no decisions yet.

I’m almost in the same situation as your husband. 11years study gap and I’ve also got admission with full funding. I did my biometrics on 21st and no response till now. People who did after me were approved within a week. I’m not even sure what to do anymore. Although I haven’t gotten any nsf email.

I think it means when they send someone an email stating that his/her application has not been straight forward and that they are unable to make decision within the published time frame however they haven't stated what the problem was nor requested for any additional documents.

I also did my biometric on the 21st and no response yet and I also have 11years study gap , no nsf , no mail till now . I wrote ielt . I have some people in my group too that’s experiencing such! It’s so frustrating

Hello house please are you meant to fill in the checklist, and upload with your other documents? I’m asking because it says the checklist should be signed at the vfs center
