Lmao. You think an 18year old girl that's still discovering what life is won't abandon a baby and husband to better her life?

Ever read of multiple babies been abandoned in school hostels, bushes, churches, mosque here in Nigeria?

Okay na
usually babies from unwanted pregnancy, babies from people who are not yet married, these people are married, am not saying they cannot divorce and saying it rarely happens.

Look around you, there are 100s of thousands of single mothers out there living their lives and are happy too. undecided

2. They don't, but their numbers continue to grow, with many of them the initiators of their very divorce? Are you sure you are tuned in to reality at all? undecided

3. Unlikely to happen in a day and age where more and more women are openly embracing divorce as the best option for them? Again, are you certain you are fully tuned in to reality? huh
bro most of them got pregnant out of wedlock, very few are from divorce. for a medium income earner divorce is not an option. it happens a lot in rich families and celebrities.

who told you they're happy, you are saying that from your own imagination. single mothers that are always bitter, angry and anti-men are happy? how? most of them are feminist. them full dating apps looking for who to marry them. fact is over 70% of men in Nigeria don't want to get married and deeply get engaged to a single mother, its a thug of war dating them.

What? huh In that same country, even in southern Nigeria, the rate of abandonment, pseudo divorce, is reported to be the same as divorce rates in the Northern states and many other places in the world. undecided

Spousal abandonment happens a lot in rich/celebrity families? Are you certain you are subscribed to reality here? huh

No need to argue with your perception there. The fact is, divorce, whether it be official or pseudo, is the new reality that those who are married or thinking of getting married need to understand and accept. Marriage does not come with an automagic lifetime guarantee. Know this and know peace! grin

My salesgirl understands my business to the point I am considering to just make her my family.

I don't do an easy business and I am looking to scale, which means someone that understands this business is vital for that to happen and preferably a family member.

Now I am thinking of marrying her and also in the process leaving the relationship/dating market that is a distraction.

I don't have issues whatsoever with this my salesgirl in terms of character and even accountability, she's just perfect in those aspects, but my problem is her age.

Right now, I am just thinking of taking this decision of killing 2 birds with a stone might just be the best for me, one is settling down and two is marrying someone that understands my business.

Is a 29 year old man too big for an 18 year old girl? What's the general public perception of it?

PS: For the main time, I haven't made moves on her. But my interviews on her so far shows she's not looking to enter the high institution anytime soon (probably due to funds). But if I become comfortable with the age gap that is my major concern, I'd make moves on her and see if it will be possible. I'm trying to assess general views on marrying girls in their teen like her.
Your idea is good at that age she is now an adult though she may look like a small girly to you

I think you can tell her you want to visit her family so thst they will know who she is working with

Study the family on your visit day and start taking it up from there, but just let them know that you want to be sure who her family is and let the family know you

From there you can talk about dating her and it may be a successful move and attempt

But I think you don't date her for long so that you will have value for the relationship

Also, plan to keep your impending future regrets and woes to yourselves... make sure you don't come telling us sob stories about how a friend of yours get this problem or another wey you wan make we comment on. grin
That you/anybody you know regretted doesn’t mean I will also regret! OR
What exactly makes you think I will regret

You mean to say that your life is, even now, without regrets? Abi the saying, "To err is human," does not apply to you? 🥱🥱🥱

18yrs is too young for marriage, in this internet age, few years into the marriage, she would feel you cheated her, by denying her, her youthful exploration age.

It's not a big deal. Age gaps don't really matter as long as both partners are over 18. I'm 21 and my boyfriend is 29.
However in this case with her being 18, some people may assume you were dating before she turned 18.

I see nothing wrong with seeking her hand in marriage since she checked all the boxes.
I have being married for years without any issue despite similar age difference.

If you see this then you should go ahead and marry her if she agrees to it, and her family is okay with it.

Stop all this second guessing and listening to what people will say!

She’s an adult according to the law. Encourage and send her to school to further her education.

By the time you are 41, she’ll be 30. This is not a Ned and Regina case here. The age gap isn’t bad
Auxtan , in all you do, never try this! Avoid this advise like plague. You're not her parents to perform such duty, let her family do that. Send her to school and watch her dump u for a man she'll call "her type"

Never invest financially into a woman who isn't your family member, women are loyal to their feelings and not your sacrifices

How old was Peter-Obi when he married Margaret?
And how old was Margaret at that time.?

Is the age-gap between them disturbing their marriage?

Now, it is up to you to know exactly what you want in a woman and go for her.

Stop seeking for validations from people.
