Locotrader:I am not sure it an attack.....obviously a lot of us were not comfortable with his style of trading and we needed to give a give back....and I believe he has adjusted now.....at least, telling people when to buy and possible exit...... Unlike before when he will just ghost everyone. Paying school fees in this economy doesn't rally make any sense... Loco Sorry. |

Benbuffet:Why should they jump out now when they ere supposed to make 200 - 300 percent profit no sooner than later. Recapitalisation of these insurance companies may most likely dilute there outstanding number of shares thereby making most of them more over valued. Hence my initial stance on trading them with caution. |

kintus:The BITTER TRUTH is people MUST pay school fees na when I don't know. That's why I always tell people to know when to move their LOOTS into FUNDAMENTAL DIVIDEND PAYING STOCKS so you don't start sounding ungrateful to those that mean well and praising BADBELLES always waiting for bad days so they will scream they warned newbies ![]() Markets globally have BEARS and BULLS season so nothing special about any season |

If the increase in the OS of banks did not devalue them what makes you think it will devalue the Insurance firms. Mind you most of the m will do RI. stokfrick: |

Seems some people are just seeing the insurance reform act news.... More cross deals ongoing now.... If you mistook Cross deals for exiting and you rush to sell in panic, na you come know.... Those on queue also wants to buy anyway. Insurance stocks also needs to reprice..... Many of them are grossly undervalued.. Exchange rate @200, price remains under N1.. @400, under N1, @800 under N1, @1560 again we still expect them to remain under N1, dem wan kill the businesses completely ni? ![]() ** Caveat: Not any form of advice, you are the CEO of your portfolio** |

There’s nothing wrong with momentum trading, we all do it, but don’t mislead others into getting trapped by advice based on unrealistic expectations |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stokfrick: 2:07pm On Aug 06, 2025 |
Locotrader:Apart from a few good insurance companies, the majority of them are not doing well and are not honest to their share holders. Except for repricing of stocks due to inflation(which was even supposed to be based on inflation induced increase in top and bottom lines, reflected by Increased EPS) and majorly raising of capital tru maybe RI, nothing organically justifies the increase in share price for most of them. The more reason increasing their shares outstanding will affect their future valuation including those with little OS. So I think even after their prices are pumped to their desired level for raising capital, investors will still dump them downwards to the right share price. So this rally is not sustainable in the medium to long term, not to talk of catalyzing a $1trillion dollar economy. |
