It is pertinent to also state that the bolded could land you in trouble... smiley

"... sold without following due process... " is better wink
faoogoke:
It is pertinent to note that non on of the Re insurance companies is listed on the exchange. Continental re-insurance was delisted years back. Nigeria Re-insurance was fraudulently sold to and purchased by Ibrahim Jimoh. A lot of legal battles around the case. I think the government recovered it from him. And then, there is FSB re-insurance wholly in private hands.
We wait to see if they will come to the market, and perhaps some other players might level up to the re-insurance stage.

The transaction was on itrade platform. But the number of shares on CSCS did not tally. So either they debited me without buying or something I don't know happened.
I got to know when the reconstruction happened and my total number of shares did not tally
Did you check another broker account if you have multiple brokers with same clearing house number.
This happened to me in transcorp plc reconstruction. After the reconstruction all my transcorp pls disappeared from cscs statement with Morgan. It was when I requested for cscs statement from another broker. I saw it was moved thr by the registrar..And this is broker I don't use again. When I called Morgan they couldn't explain what happened till I was able to find out myself. I was even angry with them why they allowed it happen. This is a broker I am exiting gradually as I sell. And that transcorp plc is not in that category. It is my large and long time holding target

My friend I told to buy Royalex when it was 1.20 two weeks ago refused to buy.Instead he choose Transcorp over the insurance company.

I am shocked he placed 50m order yesterday but to no avail.Maybe he is tired of placing order since he can't get a single unit.

Tomorrow he will not take my advice or pick for granted.

Many people are removing their bids because of annoyance but what can we do?

Anybody buying insurance henceforth should be ready to buy at huge premium.

Best option is to buy on crossedeals or off market price.

Universal arrived N1.
If this stock will meet up with recapitalization, should do nothing less than N5.

This means insurance sector will dominate till the end of this year.

Cheers to all in various boats.

Why some not sure of recapitalization will drop, the assured one will continue the rally.
Na only Naicom has the power to quench the rally.I am waiting for their formal announcement on the sector.

There are more of crossedeals on the brokers table now.
I have a friend looking for 50m crossdeal now but his order is not on the table. There are others too looking for such deal.

If you are watching the bid sizes on the floor now,it might deceive you.Insurance will rally till you hear official news from Naicom. The news will be both positive and negative.
This is why Loco belong to the Royalty family

The procedure is that the amount you see on your trading account is Morgan's capital money. The sale proceed you initiated has to enter Morgan's capital account before you can withdraw theirs in your trading account and it takes the usual T+3 days. You won't be charged.

You can't byPass the current T+3 days if you choose to withdraw it from your trading account.

The essence of opting out of Direct Cash Settlement (DCS) and opting for trade account settlement is so that you can buy shares immediately with your sale proceed(Morgan's capital money) not withdraw it immediately.

But if you must withdraw before the T+3 days, they will take 3%.

@chimex38, you are on point, and that is what is obtainable in the industry, not just for Morgan. However, the percentage charged for express withdrawal outside the T+3 window differs from firm to firm.

Another reason we remain at Royal family is they are recapitalizing at N25B with Naicom and NSE current capitalization is N16.2B.

Royalex has to break and settle at above N30B NSE capitalization in due time.
