I’m guessing you opted for direct cash payment when you registered with you broker. This means , when you sell any of your stock, the payment is made into you bank account 3 days after you sold. Thank you

Thanks for the clarification. Though I don't think I filled anything like direct cash payment when registering. Maybe it's the default.


Sad thing is that the stock I sold is now moving while the one I was hoping to buy has gone much beyond the price I intend to enter it.

This was same experience I had when I opened an account with them 3 or 4 years ago.
I was given a form to opt out of DCS.

Cscs will pay you on the Settlement day(T+3)

If you filled the form to opt out, subsequent trades will reflect on your account.

You don't have anything to fear

Brokers need your signature to opt you out.
They can't do it without you nah.Its an option to determine by the investor not broker

What these brokers do these days. Your money will reflect after they have traded and profited from it. Your own is small. I have had occasions where shares purchased through Morgan disappeared totally. The customer care guy acknowledged the purchase but the shares were missing from my CSCS account. And he could not just explain why

Zenith bank market capitalization last 2 months and now are they same?

Will we say manipulations are going on generally?

My friend I told to buy Royalex when it was 1.20 two weeks ago refused to buy.Instead he choose Transcorp over the insurance company.

I am shocked he placed 50m order yesterday but to no avail.Maybe he is tired of placing order since he can't get a single unit.

Tomorrow he will not take my advice or pick for granted.

Many people are removing their bids because of annoyance but what can we do?

Anybody buying insurance henceforth should be ready to buy at huge premium.

Best option is to buy on crossedeals or off market price.

Request Transfer form from your broker.
You only need to mark the opt out options and sign on the signature column and scan back to your broker.They will fill the other necessary things in the form and send to cscs

Our perspectives are different (for now) but I'm going to keep mute for now.
I'll wait for further directives from NAICOM...
