Three digits look very unlikely for Oando until there is very good news e g. fantastic Q3 results, more oil field acquisitions, higher ratios in the share redistribution tranche 2, etc. Otherwise we have to wait until after the fresh capital raise.

The lines are increasingly getting blurred, but in general:

Life: Insurance company that provides insurance against death or critical illness. Sometimes includes accident/health insurance and asset management (e.g., pensions). Usually requires more professional actuarial/investment management skill. Companies like AIICO and Leadway are the big players in this segment.
Non-life aka general: Property and casualty (P&C) insurance company that insures non-life risks and liabilities, e.g., cars, homes, oil & gas assets, business income. The biggest slice of the insurance market. Most Nigerian companies are non-life/general insurance carriers.
Composite: Carrier that insurers all of the above. Although AIICO is well known for its life business, it insures other non-life risks, so it falls under "Composite."
Reinsurance: Carrier that insurers other insurers. Usually very large, well capitalized. Most of them are non-Nigerian.

The qualification date for Chams right issue is June 16. I have about 6m units of Chams before June 16 out of which I sold 2.5m afterwards.
I currently have about 3.5m units, my question is, am I qualified for 6m units pre June 16 or present 3.5m for my right.
ThatN1.7 I think is give away don’t want to miss a single unit

Qualified for 6m if you sold after June 16, even if you sold all the 6m, any investor who bought after June 16, irrespective of the number of units, is not qualified.

Whenever you hear a qualification date for rights issue, dividend etc what it means is that the registrars read the register of shareholders from that date backward. Any name or holdings after that date are not considered.

Picture attached a Bottle of Okumo oil. I have never seen Ellah Lakes Produce/Product in the market

Ellah is clearly a business that seeks to sell itself as a business ubdergoing rapid positive transformation.

Interesting it grew revenue from less than N1m in 2024 to N60m YTD.

Also, it has biological assets worth N585million but also has a salary payable of N525million which I guess is likely intended to be primarily share-based compensation to senior exec...but still seems quite steep or probably premature given the revenue and biological asset value as at YTD.

It makes me question how diverse and independent the board is.

Also, the large portion of the asset value (over 80%) is down to N22billion of land (approx N15billion of this value was recognised in 2024 by a fair value adjustment - a 200% increase in land value). This would make me feel very uncomfortable if I were a long term investor.

This adjustments were signed off by a small audit firm also.

While it may have met ICAN criteria to audit and signed off the account, I would personally be uncomfortable relying on a 15billion naira revaluation gain being signed off by a small accounting firm....

I like when you defend kpakus in this manner. I mean when you come with numbers or superior arguments. Not when you leave the matter at hand and create lies. And if it is not working you begin to go personal on the individual. The result is out thr and full yr will soon follow.
Then because it is into palm oil you tell people just to look at SP of presco or okumu

That said you pointed another serious red flag. The value of biological assets is almost the amount for salary being owed.How now.Is this not another way to grab more shares via conversion to equity

Pls can you project when you think this company can hit 1 billion in revenue and 1 billion in PAT
Then what eps could look like with current os which you equally acknowledged can still go up.They have not started refining oil.They are still selling FFB.
Don't forget the expected mill is just 3 tonnes.
You can compare to the size of presco and okumu which has 90 000 and 60 000.I hope I am not wrong based on when I did the search

The auditors na another red flag as they called our attention in onado regarding it too

Ellah Lakes claimed to have been in the oil business since 2018... It is stated here in n the news.. but I'm not going to focus on that.

Competitors Listed : Everest Farms Limited : pictured attached produces or product from Everest Farms.

Point 2/3 :: in 2022 Ellah Lakes took over Ada rice from Enugu state Govt, no pictures or produce of the rice... from Them ... Picture attched Rice by Lagos State Govt... cos should know if Enugu produced the rice. . The then governor would have wanted press to cover it...

Point 3:: in May 2019 Ellah lakes took over Telluria Farms.... a company they claimed is into Palm oil production...

But in 2024 Ellah Lakes declared zero revenue.....
