Just pillar to post . Sotay kids of 20s born several decades after discovery of this virus are having their lives endangered because of it
Keeping away the cure is intentional, meanwhile there are countries where it's not a major chronic illness because they have the panacea but don't make noise about it

Eat well and maintain a good health .
And there is news that there is an injection taken twice a year to battle the virus in one 's body .
No need for the daily pills .
Trump has decided to cut USAID funding for programs that help Africans get HIV and TB drugs for free.

Many nigerian PLHIV may have to pay out of pocket for ART.

We may be seeing more AIDS related deaths soon.

It is well

Eat good food, get doctor's advice and information on how to get your drugs. Attend online or church programs of Dunamis and God will change the status to Negative by His grace.
Abeggi, which Dunamis?

If Dunamis can heal it,why doesn't he visit sick ones in the hospitals and homes?

Don't be deceived. Miracles can't heal it.

Fidelity is the best antitode to the infection.

Hmm , I don't know if you're a girl or a boy . But contacting HIV below 20s is scaring. I, Mr Dickson totally agree that HIV is real. I have been watching many HIV patients and nurses warning youth to be safe out there cos HIV is real and it's everywhere like MTN network now. And truth be told,am afraid of having sex with a random girl unlike b4 .

I remember during Donald Trump's last state of the Union speech in his first term, he said the USA will get a complete cure of HIV within a decade from that time.
I watched an interview where Dr Anthony Fauci (I am guessing you know him) said he and his team members have done extensive research to get rid of HIV virus from the human body, but it keeps multiplying in ways beyond their understanding.

America has already tried; at least their big pharma companies gave the world ARVs. Those people who come here to promote Russia army every day should tell their Russia to find the solution to HIV/AIDS. It's only when you hear war that Russia pops up, no other meaningful innovation.

[quote author=RetroviralS post=136382949]Most young people my age worry about grades, jobs, or love.

I worry about whether I’ll be able to afford the medication that keeps me alive.

The number one fear of most AYPLHIV (Adolescents and Young People Living with HIV) is a future where we have to pay for all the daily medications and regular tests that we need to stay alive.

This fear is valid because there is real uncertainty around the future funding of HIV programmes in Nigeria. I’ve been fortunate enough to get higher education that gave me tech skills: the kind of skills that will guarantee me a steady source of income in the future. But the reality?

Most AYPLHIV don’t have the means to acquire such skills or access higher education. And even when some finally get a job, it’s often far from where they can access their medication forcing them to reject the offer entirely.

If there were more funding for HIV programmes, there could be more centers. That would mean AYPLHIV wouldn’t have to choose between a career and their health.

There’s a beauty and peace in being “normal” that AYPLHIV may never get to experience. But life can be made much easier if support structures are put in place.

That’s why I am committed to advocating for this for the rest of my life.

What about you?

If this was your life, what’s the very first change you’d want to see in Nigeria’s health system? I’m listening.

[/quote sincerely I am touched by your write up, but I have confidence in God that He will intervene

My heart goes out to you.
You’re so young, how did you contract it?

As one who consider myself as a “saved by Grace” after having more than my own fair share of being out there, I know there are other ways to be infected, but most people get it through unprotected sex.

If you’re not bitter with the society and want to help others by becoming an advocate for its prevention, you will have more money than you need for medication as people will donate to the cause.

Also, I believe there’s a cure for it alongside cancer that’s being hidden cos the big pharma wants to make as much money as possible from the medication, but Trump will expose it as time goes.

This thought came into my mind before I read your post. I'm yet to hear about Russia in humanitarian sector like health, it's only about war and destruction.

Seriously, let's give it to the USA because they've really tried hard in gathering sound medical professionals around the world to carry out medical research with huge fundings from the government

Hope is powerful, and ambitious goals have their place in moving the world forward. But when it comes to something like HIV, hope needs to be matched with hard science, sustained funding, equitable healthcare, and global cooperation.

We're making real progress—but the road to a "cure" is still long, and no injection or speech alone can solve it.

You’re right to recognize the leadership of the U.S. in global health—it has truly shaped the modern medical world through funding, collaboration, and a commitment (however imperfect) to global health equity. At the same time, it’s good to remain curious about why other countries like Russia don’t feature in this conversation as often.

Sometimes it’s about priorities. Sometimes it’s about politics. And sometimes, it's just about what stories the world chooses to tell.

If you’d like, I can show a side-by-side comparison of U.S. vs Russian health diplomacy or medical innovation over the past decade.

I appreciate your optimism, but let’s stick to facts — if there were a proven herbal cure, the medical world would be shouting it from the rooftops. Consistency is great, but consistency with misinformation can be harmful. Let’s not give people false hope where science hasn’t confirmed results yet

The moment information comes to the public space, it becomes the business of everyone. If you like, learn. If you don't like, don't learn.

Meanwhile, you are not the OP. I don't know who made you his spokesman.
Exactly what I told the over Sabi guy, it's a public space and his story will obviously be a lesson to others, which is also as important as OP's initial idea if this post.

Lol... Lenacapavir (produced by Gilead) is actually more than $23,000; it's almost $45k in some countries. But have you heard of Zolgensma®? It's over $2m!!! Like... Most people will never earn this in their lifetime. Just for one dose of medication
