If I could recall, he spotted TIP at sub-N0.50 because I bought 500,000 units of TIP at N0.45 kobo in Nov 2021 – a case of a 2500% gain in my portfolio. He was one of the members that first speculated about it. I still have it intact. Another compelling case why Locodemy must appease his village people. Short-term investing is a recipe for generational wealth destruction. Think long-term; reward might come earlier than your expectation.

Xidget:
He also spotted TIP at #1.3 and tip is now #12

SohSoh:
Thank you for this information

1: that is why we don't have any working refinery in nigeria
2:that is why NNPC doesn't have one refinery attached to their name
3: that is why subsidy nearly finished this country
4: that is why they refused to supply Dangote crude ... despite investing 2billion and owning 20% of the refinery
5: that is why there is an alleged 210 trillion unaccounted for...

I could go on oh..... so again who in their right senses think NNPC of Nigeria is a good business partner.....

Political banter and mundane sentiments apart, why would any educated mind not support Tinubu to continue? If the motive is the good of our country, the trajectory the economy has been following under him is a testament that he is getting the job done. I have no reason to look for another person to vote for.

Locotrader:
All these reforms acts na win win for insurance companies.

Thank you Mr president.
Your second tenure is assured

After like 2 rounds of jijo, I now have like 140k units of Ellah in my portfolio which I have decided to leave there as legacy holding. I am not going to sell, I will continue to watch what becomes of the company.

SonofElElyonRet:
Then you will regret not buying Ellah just as you regret not buying Okomu and Presco grin

You are very correct. The few units of Presco I bought at 800 few weeks ago is currently at over 80%. For such sound stocks, any time is good time.

Toluway:
I always wonder why investors would make up their mind to buy a stock after doing necessary findings and still come back to say they they regretted not buying it as if the stock has traveled abroad!
Or say they missed it at a particular price or say they are waiting for it at a particular price!
How can you fathom which price it's going to be at a point in time?
Look at a stock like Presco; I know this stock to have been appreciating in price continuously for over 12 years; and you're still saying you missed it at a particular price.
This is a stock that you can buy at any time and go to sleep.
Too much unnecessary worries on this thread and that is why we always have much to read and enjoy ourselves.
I enjoy myself a lot here. The gba gbos and exuberances are very entertaining. You can't be bored on this thread.
Love you guys 👍💕

Have you checked TANTALIZERS? Seems to be itching for some interesting movement.

Coolcash1:
My stock pick for next week strictly based on technical analysis:

Caverton : bargain price lies between N4.5 and N5.20
Veritas- strong bullish close above the stubborn N1.80 level. Any price below N2.00 is bae... wink
Universal Insurance: huge volume breakout above the N1 level. Any price below N1.20 is good.
Omatek: bulls defended the N1.15 breakout level upon retest. Further upside expected. Sharpen your cutlass... grin
UPDC: seems out of range now for bargain hunters but still got some gas to run.
Transcorp: nice build up. Smart money loading.
NSLTECH: is getting the deserved attention and gathering momentum again.
Ellah Lakes: oh, so sweet. To suffocate the nay sayers... grin
C&I leasing: enter upon retest below N8.
GTCO: a close below N96 rejected. Imminent breakout above N103 expected.

Let me stop here.

Wishing you all a green and red portfolio next week... cool

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mankind2024:
PRESCO is another compelling evidence why long-term investing is a strategy for the foundation of generational wealth creation. I started buying PRESCO in 2021 and usually reinvest the dividends. My N1.2M initial capital over the course has grown to over N15M – that's a whooping 725% return. No sleepless nights, no lifting of concrete, and above all, no loan collected and no short term trading like Oga Locodemy.

Ahahahahah No. I am closely watching to see if the much talked about potentials become reality. I actually hope to periodically pick more units based on positive info.

From experience, which brokerage platform is better between Afriinvest and Morgan?

Last week friday, all my orders at afriinvest were not executed. Is it cool to have more than one platform? Sorry for my naive question.

Also, using app or web to trade? Which one is better?

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mankind2024:
Since the short-term traders believe they're the only ones with celebrated winners on this platform, I seem to be in the mood to answer them today by presenting a fact that there's nothing compared to being a disciplined investor.
My less than N5.5M naira splash on 1,700,000 units of Honyflour from 2023 to 2024 is now over N41M. That's a whooping over 650% return in less than 3 years, still invested. No marketing of any stock on NSEMPA, just a stealth wealth strategy – surgical precision, just massive ordinance penetration bunker-busting bomb (GBU) on B52 in the words of no. 47 POTUS. If Locodemy had trusted the market and stayed invested, that N50M that birthed N400M would've yielded N1B plus. He always jumps in and jumps out and hides in the underground bunkers because he never trusted the market nor could he stay invested – and watched the N50M plummet to N30M, hence his intrinsic short-term behavior always makes him hide in the underground bunkers in order to avoid market crash which no one can prevent.

I and other investors here using Morgan Capital. always enjoy free active execution of trades.

@Mankind always has an inspiring post here and he now highlighted how his disciplined longterm investment strategy make him a billionaire.

@Locodemy is good at spotting the hidding gem but his hand tremor upon seeing small profits make him not to make billions with ngx.

Let us all join hands together and speak the word of God, the highest power and authority to Locodemy's village people.
The village people, the witches and wizards in Imo state and environs, leave our friend alone in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Together we can help Locodemy become a disciplined, winning and prosperous investor. Almighty God, we call upon You today to breathe the fresh air of delayed gratification into the life of Locodemy and prosper him more than his imagination. His N400M of today should birth more than N2.5B on or before 2030. Amen
He is our good friend. We want him to join the NSEMPA billionaire club before the end of 2025. May You also deliver him from the spirit of Madam Cathie Wood. Amen.

I think your point has been made clearly. He's not actually complaining about the hypothetical scenarios you've mentioned nor has he felt unhappy about the successes he has made to date.

While we appreciate that you've had success, repeatedly highlighting your achievements here feels unnecessary. Perhaps there are other ways to project success without it coming across as bragging.

When you say 'from experience', it could mean someone who has used both. While I haven't used Afriinvest, I am sure the platform alone is not why your orders were not executed. It could be that your bid/offer price did not meet the opposite ones in the market for a deal to happen.

You can have two brokers (or more if you want) to separate your trading account from your investing account, if that is your goal. If not, one brokerage account could be enough.

Most people access the internet via mobile devices these days. But, unfortunately, we don't have reliable apps with good UI/UX active in NGX (none that I am aware of). If the developers of iTrade, the platform Morgan Capital and a few others use, can develop a mobile version of that app, we will have something nice for mobile-only investors. Perhaps the absence of reliable mobile apps by top brokers, is why third party brokers like Bamboo continue to have a good customer base who come here from time to time to lay complaints.

Investment-One has about 2 apps that do the basics, but they still have lots of improvements to make. However, I would rather use them than use a third party broker if my goal is to only invest in NGX. The best experience so far lies on the web platforms, especially that of Morgan Capital.

The preceding remarks represent my personal perspective and should not be considered authoritative.

I'm only catching fun with my good friend. I would surely meet Locodemy one day and possibly take a tour to his palm plantation in Imo state 🌴. Locodemy is an investor in the real world, a short-term trader on NGX while I'm a trader in the real world and a long-term investor on NGX, NYSE, and Crypto📈.

Locodemy?? You better face your business and ignore my posts. It was because of few individuals like you that made many successful investors from sharing their networth. A success story on a faceless platform is a bragging in your eyes.
Joking with my NSEMPA friend is now an issue of utmost priority to you!
You do not have to comment on posts that are not made for you.
Locodemy, please come out and defend me from your visible defender from the moon.
I could remember you have a solid plan in transiting to a long term investor.
Go ahead, you would surely succeed. I'm proud of you.
If you were to be a fund manager in Nigeria, you would surely be the best among equal.
