They will merge and do right issues and deploy funds raised to do business, and with the earning prospect the new insurance policy brings,

insurance stocks will only go up.

It does not make any sense at all for CFD to declare a 5:1 bonus and thereafter come back to the market in less than 2 years to raise fresh funds.
It seems the directors are either selfish or visionless.
