In 2007,I still remember vividly when some folks used to talk about Wapic Insurance stocks in Stock Market Nigeria forum.

Since 2007 to 2025,what has been the performance of Wapic Insurance in terms of annual earnings and dividends?

Never you forget history! cool

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Fred2020: 12:06pm On Aug 11, 2025
Some buyers pushed Veritas’s price down last week probably to shake things up and take a position. Now, come Monday morning, they’ve flipped it into a near full-on bid.

It appears the same game is being played with WAPIC.

Someone that bought Wapic Insurance in 2007 and never sold has been harmed!

From 2007 till 2025,Wapic Insurance has only paid dividend in 2016. Is this a successful company when compared to Zenith Bank or UBA?

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by crownprince2017: 12:12pm On Aug 11, 2025
Whatsapp stock pick seller gave a sell when ellah was at 10 in the believe that when he comes here to bad mouth the price to be at 7 the price will go back to 7 and give buy again.

I'm his mind, na NSEPA they move price.

Since his lies has been exposed, I never see his analysis since then, abi you don't block me to avoid being dragged.
grin grin

I wondered where that attitude will take you to.

If you look at the owners of wapic, you will understand why them no dey pay shishi.
Na the same pple that own wapic that also owns Access bank. They don't so much care about investors.

I think LASACO's loss of approx. N518m in the last quarter is why it is not getting attention as other insurance stocks

They are trying to do same thing to WAPIC. The guy also flirted with the idea that WAPIC was overpriced last week.

Not by results
Not by dividend.
Check if they are merging or to be acquired.

Standalone Insurance companies the best place to be

But Access Bank has done well from 2007 till 2025!

The problem is the Wapic Insurance;I think the company is not profitable when compared to Access Bank.

The last buyers will be at a great loss when reversal in price begins.

Most insurance stocks pay poor dividends.
Are you not following the news or you don't just like making money outside dividend yield?

The reform of insurance sector is real.

I wish I keyed in when Loco dropped the information.

Thanksss. Where did you get this?

Does it make sense to offer RI below market price?
Is this not corruption?
Usually, most PO/RI are offered below market price in order to encourage buyers, and they would have ''pumped'' the market price before announcing the price for the RI/PO
