Exited Royalex @232% profit.Bought immediately after the off market announcement @0..86k
In the same vein some of us took vintage position at circa N2.06k in japaulGold with our SPECULATIVE FUND,

When we saw a CROSSDEAL of 52m units @t #2.05k

Now we are comfortably sitting on 40% paper profit while the beans is yet to be grinded.

(FORTUNE FAVORS THE BRAVE)

BARGAIN HUNTERS TAKE NOTE!

You are spot on. Now between now and then do you really think there won't be an opportunity to buy at a discount to book value?

Book value is just one metric. From an earnings perspective Ellah still has a long way to go. I like the company, I'll most likely still get in, but I will work at my own pace and not FOMO into any investment.
Ogbon Agba… I follow you sir

No 1 thing that moves a stock is liquidity.
There is good liquidity in insurance sector now that's why you see money flowing there.

Japaul is already known for its powerful liquidity.

Liquidity I see in Japaul go even carry us till N10.

This game is a done deal.
Make pessimists park one side make better people enjoy the game

Na people wey no get funds they make noise pass... They will analyze JAPAUL until it might overtake ELLAH LAKES if the game goes as PLANNED
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megawealth01:
If JAPAUL gets to or crosses #10. I will rebalance 1/10th of my assets in NGX to increase my HOLDINGS there as that will convince me that Jegede is out of the picture

Majority of my JAPAUL was bought at 0.20 besides the IPO of that year... I have never sold any quantity from my investment account

At least one should have a primary residence that is all.

But if your dividend is more than 10 times of your rental expenses and the dividends grows faster than rent increase, kini big deal as per buying properties

Save this massive devaluation era, which do you think preserves capital better? Stocks or real estate?

I think it is stock oooo

Make sure the stock has a return on Invested capital of over 40%.

N1 million invested in the IPO of GTCO in 2001 of is now worth over N135 million

N1 million invested in the IPO of Okomu is worth N480 million

N1 million invested in the IPO of Presco about 20 years ago is worth over N285 million

Before you talk about devaluation.

N1 million in 2001 is worth just $10,000 currently valued at about N15 million.

Okomu was listed in 1991 while Presco was listed in 2002

The only thing is that 80% of real estate investor will make money although might not be as much as what who intelligently invested in stocks make

Just 20% to 30% of those who invest in stock will make good money and will be more than what majority of those who Invested in real estate will make.

Just that stock market investment is an intellectual investment.

Real estate has an inbuilt growth mechanism in it, unlike stocks that require one to be an intelligent investor in order to identify growth and value.

In short real estate is the best option for the majority of the people, but that does not make it the best.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 9:15pm On Aug 12, 2025
You can invest N10,000 in a stock and start earning dividends that will be paid into your bank account immediately, another person can invest N30 million in real estate and yet can't start earning rental income from it

I have already said remove the "exceptional case" of devaluation. Between 2003-2022

Again all these examples that you gave will not constitute 100% of people's portfolio

Bros, rest small na. Your stock and self-promotion are endless! You're like that mosquito inside my bed net that keeps buzzing and I can't kill because I can't see in the dark.

With respect, give it a break. Or take a sabbatical like you did after Chams. We will survive.

What I shared was performance from 2001 to date for Presco and GTCO

And From 1991 for Okomu.

The Okomu and Presco have ROIC of over 50%

Make sure what you have in your portfolio are compounders.
And turn that portfolio to an income factory, which produces income that you reinvest in such a way that future income will grow faster than inflation on the long run

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 9:35pm On Aug 12, 2025
As a matter of fact that investment of N1 million in the IPO of GTCO in 2001, gave the investor a dividend of roughly N12 million in 2024

Or, is Japaul in possession of a vast, geologically confirmed gold deposit anywhere, right now, waiting for the comencement of mining?
I no even get time for that noise. If anything serious comes for that company to profit from Gold.I will get a call to come benefit from it too.For now nothing dey happen concerning gold yet beside other hustle
