Your first code was specifically telling you that something is wrong with the injector wiring on cylinder six, check how that injector sprays fuel, replace if pattern is bad.
Blue smoke, car is burning oil, obviously you have some car knowledge, so I believe you already checked and saw it isn't an external oil leak getting on the exhaust, if it is not pcv valve then you're on a long and stressful ride, it is a Toyota, most mechanics will be able to advise you properly, I am sure there are many around you, Toyota isn't Changan or Gac.

I drove s lexus for a year and i personally tackled every issue aside from the gear that the useless mechanic did not align the clutch wheel well,making thay gbim bang once u switch gears,something that was silent,the kazeem later said it would settle,wich never did. Your injectors have got spoilt by the dismantling done by iron hand kazeems. U see kazeems are good,but they will spoil one or two things.... the blue smoke can be from stuck piston rings in piston grooves ,or bad stem seals,if its stem seals,i would advice u to buy a torque digital meter ,it costs about 30k and to be with them everywhere they do it,if not,when they are setting the valve springs,they wont torque the springs and bolts back to factory guide,hence the beginning of the end of that lexus. Within a week,you would experience engine misfires,wrong acceleration, wrong timing ac problem,gesr delay,overheating and gboom,end of Solomongrundy. Next time always buy thinner or you buy injector cleaner,the can type. Fire the engine for good 1hr.and all your problems would have been solved.lexus is a very very fragile car,esp the engine. My advice is ,use the lexus like that,do an engine flush at least 4times and watch the colour of the oil at the 4th time.if its gold,add stp stop smoke additives,or lucas oil stabilizer seafoam on the day you are changing the oil. And watch the exhaust for a week.dont allow the
open your engine,if not,its gone.or u buy a toks which is like playing with fire. Ladipo men would sell neat scrap engine give u as direct toks.cha cha.awon ole

The switch are no longer working.

I think the motor is faulty already

Location matters. Where's the carlocatuon and which of the motor failed?

One of the best car outside for now.
Change engine oil and filters pls use synthetic oil 5w20 or 5w30
Has for ur transmission oil get a good technician to help you inspect if it require to replace or not.
Check break pads, has long has there's no funny noise on d suspension then u are good to go for the next 5000miles if you use good synthetic oil ohh.

Any reason for suggesting the 5w20/5w30 over the recommended 0-20?

You may have to get your electrician to pop out the motor snap n send to me. I may be able to source it for you in Abuja when next I visit the spareparts market for a little token (not including the motor) if you're okay with it

So my es 350 gear has-been giving me issues.
When trying to accelerate it revs and goes into neutral, I will have to release my legs from the throttle for it to come down, before it changes gear and continues moving.

After driving for sometime the movement becomes sluggish and slow and goes into neutral more often.

To even drive over a slightly elevated ground is a problem.

Gear repairer says it's the fibre that has gotten burnt( I don't know why they always either say fibre or valve body) and to repair is 50-50.

I have decided to get ready to get another toks gear box instead of wasting money on repairing what might not work.

Anyone with similar experience?

I don't know why it's hard to get a very good/expert gearbox specialist here, that knows beyond fibre and valvebody

wont advice you to get toks unl3ss youvare shipping directly from abroad. The so called toks at ladipo are naija used and reworked,relabelled,restamped with marker and of cos repainted and polish3d back to imitate toks. B4 u rush to fibre. Chefk for leakage fron gear sump,hose,clips...check and check.there must be signs. Yes that how lexus designed it for emergency purpose.however have u checked your gear selector to see if everything is intact. Its your car,dont be stupid. Go to youtube.by primming tools,open the gear selector console from the ashtray area.if everything looks normal. Then recouple it and check for leaks. If no leaks. Then the gear don sapa be that. Next is to buy gear from marketplace yankee or ebay yankee. Go and buy flooded gear at ladipo. U go sell that es as scrap for butcher 200k ..lastly check the plugs if they are black or dead.if they are.then now how gear cannot connect

Evap system malfunction due to over filling of fuel tank till it spills out. It's damaged the evap system. Scan the car, post the codes lets take it up from there.

I called a rewire and he said that it's likely the car battery was removed when the car was on that it would reset automatically. I just cleared the car from the port and noticed it requires premuim fuel, its an RX350 2010. What advice would you give me? What could be the fault as i have plans on travelling far to the east with the car.

Have it checked by another mechanic before embarking on that trip. Also, test that car very well within Lagos before going on a journey.

They dont sell single.ud have to buy a pair and we are looking at from 420k to 480k new,used 220 to 250k..used.u might get lucky with a baranda
