I have 10m units bought at 2.20 some weeks back.
These purchases below were bought at 2.90-3.0 just 2 days ago.

I will have extra purchase of 5m units tomorrow.

This is going the way of Ellah lakes. That N500B can't happen without price spike. We are waiting to cash out at least 100m here in due time.

The deal is almost closed as we wait for notice anytime from now.
So you now have 15 million units.. powerful man

Yes H1 is Half year Result but the EPS therein reflected is the Estimated FY ( annualized). Still expresses the performance of the company at H1 but not entirely for a 6 months period but for a year estimate…. Annualized.

Okay let's assume the Full Year EPS is N3.71 for 2025 financial year. This N3.71 is more than 25 percent of the current stock price of FCMB

My question is can Geregu,Okomu,Presco and Nestle make up to N250,N260,N340 and N440 respectively as their full year EPS for 2025?

From the above, you can see that FCMB has better intrinsic value and is more of a blue chip company than those other 4 companies that their market capitalization is more than 1 trillion Naira! grin

Oh they came out in February to confirm by themselves that they are now ready to list and even visited Tinubu and Wale Edun.
In another interview quite recently, the CEO gave the commitment again. I think this is the first time Flutterwave themselves have been serious about listing on the NGX even though they’ve been courted before many years ago.
It seems they also got some commitment from the Government and Galaxybackbone on hosting services in Nigeria.
Cool thanks

Why do you want to assume with incorrect info, unless a reference to validate the full year is what was provided, otherwise report shows that its H1

Pls sir, how do we calculate intrinsic value of a stock?
EDUECO:
Dividend paying stocks whose prices are below their intrinsic value will surely appreciate in prices.

Haha! The place is not for profit but I go make many money from the discussions there. We need conversations to be structured so we can reference them later on
In still trying to get how to navigate thru the site but it's looking complex to me
It's not very simple like NL threads, maybe it's because I'm used to NL, could be much simpler than NL eventually.

I sincerely wish we could all migrate there to develop the site.
Any success with inviting Oga Wanaj0 and Oga Oracle?

Pls sir, how do we calculate intrinsic value of a stock?
Intrinsic value is the real worth of a stock of a company and not market value quoted as daily market price of the company.

The simplest method of calculating the intrinsic value is by dividend the equity of the company by the total outstanding shares.

Total Intrinsic Value=Equity= Total Asset - Liability

Intrinsic Value per Share = Equity ÷ Total outstanding shares

There are other methods of calculating intrinsic value, but this method is one of the best.

Pls make sure it has high standard like SMN.And not another branch shop to market thr goods like we have on this thread. Try and be the moderate and only extend admin position to persons with standard. Some are already seeing it as possible branch office for games

I want to take away 100m off from the market and lock it in Wema-Alat fixed deposit for 365 days.
I want to take the interest upfront.
After deducting the 10%,I will receive 15,756,000 as interest for 12 months.

Is this a wise decision since I don't want to keep it in the stock market?

17.75% per anum

Pls make Una put mouth

I see the Jijo gang as a financial cult or if you like financial fraternity of this forum.

The gang behave like the Nigerian version of 77(the black men) and 88(the blue men). They do everything within their power to defend their interest. cool So I am not surprised when they bash and antagonize me!

Even this N3.71 that I regarded as an annualized EPS for FCMB is still far better than those of the 4 companies I mentioned when compared as percentage of their stock prices.cool

If preservation of capital is your top priority and you’re worried about stock market volatility, locking in 17.75% upfront in a safe bank FD is reasonable.

However, if you want to beat inflation or get higher returns, you might explore FGN Treasury Bills or FGN Savings Bonds, which are also safe but sometimes yield slightly more than bank FDs.

Yes
Loco's N10 projection would be good though
I am waiting to see how low ELLAH will come down back to. I will rather take more bets on ELLAH at N9 or N10 (as speculative investment biased speculator) should it fall back that low (or N12 sef). I have very old leftover Japaul will ride that should Jegede play the game or not play the game. There is a chance he won't.
