For those that was granted eVisa, how did you access it? I followed the instructions and I entered every details correctly but I'm getting "Details entered does not match our record" Please, am I doing it the wrong way? Note: I was issued an eVisa yesterday, 14th of August... and I did my Biometrics on Monday 11th of August.. If you got an eVisa, I will be glad if you can give me a guide on how to access it. Thank you! |

I did and I was taken back to my visa application process page I am bit confused, do I need to create another UKVI account that is different from the one I used for my application? I created a new UKVI account and I was asked to link my UKVI account to my eVisa (an eVisa that I haven't seen). Note: I haven't picked up my physical passport yet even though I was emailed on Monday that it is available for pickup I am a bit confused with the whole thing TBH infosoftlife: |

doncafu:Have you gotten a visa decision yet? You said your biometrics was on Monday 11th and I don't know how possible it is to get a visa decision within 3 days unless you paid for Priority. Kindly ensure you have gotten a visa decision first. |

Hi everyone, Please I need advice. So I did forestry and wildlife as an undergraduate. But i heard its not really compulsory you do something related to your undergrad though I'll prefer to. So i searched for high demand courses (degrees with the very high possibilities of securing a job in the uk related to my course of study and some courses popped out). E.g *Environmental Management *Geographic Information Systems (GIS) & Remote Sensing *Environmental Data Science / Climate Change *Sustainable Forestry / Forest Management *Conservation with Policy & Management What I need your advices on are; 1. If you think I should go for any of those courses or you have better suggestions as regards high chances of securing a skilled worker's visa with a relatively well paying job because I heard it can be hard to do that. 2. Going to an affordable university, particularly in areas with low/affordable cost of living plus where part time jobs can be easily gotten because I heard that can also be another struggle. Any other suggestions/advice will be really appreciated🙏🏽 Thanks in advance for your help. |

doncafu:You do not need a new UKVI account if you already have one. Go to gov.uk and navigate from there. |

doncafu:Awesome and congratulations 🎊. Go to gov.uk Click on the "crown" icon at the top left corner of the page. After it reloads, on the search space, type "get access to your evisa" and search. On the new page, click evisas: access and use your online immigration status. On the new page, scroll down to "setup a UKVI account to access your evisa" On the new page, click on "create a UKVI account" On the next pages, fill the information correctly and click continue. On the new page, scroll down to "Sign in" On the next pages, fill the information correctly using your passport details and date of birth. Steps to link your evisa will be displayed here. |

Midoskibal:If your main aim is job security and Skilled Worker sponsorship, then GIS & Remote Sensing or Environmental Data Science would be your top picks. They combine your background with high-demand technical skills. Environmental Management can also work, but the more technical your skillset, the better your chances. As for the area that are affordable,in terms of location I will say Scotland has cheaper living expenses but generally just avoid central London There are several university in the uk with cheks tuition fees e.g York St. John university Teeside university e.t.c I hope this helps |

Good day all. please i need clarification, i wish to apply for Mres in business management which would enable me travel with my partner and our son. and based on our budget, york st john university seemed cheaper. I checked other schools but their tuition deposit is higher than our budget. I wish to get an advice from any one whom had applied to this school and travelled via this route with their dependent. or if you know someone who had in the past please let me know how this went. my questions would be : what was the duration before the admission decision came from the school ? Did they request for an official transcript? / your student copy suffixed? Was there an interview before issuing a CAS? Since their MRes campus is based in East london what is life like there regarding accommodation and job. Thanks God bless you all. |

Sassyp:Hi! It's was a lymph sum because I registered for PhD. I was supposed to paid about 3492 pounds but an additional 171 pounds was charged, guess exchange fees and tax, making 3665 pounds altogether. For visa application, 545 pounds was debited. |

Midoskibal:I’d advise you to strongly consider pursuing a master’s degree in a field that aligns with your marketable experience. Skilled visa-eligible roles typically require a certain level of experience, and policy trends are moving toward limiting entry-level or below-graduate roles for new immigrants. If your long-term plan is to secure residency through the skilled worker pathway, it’s worth reflecting carefully on this. There are immigrants who have secured visa sponsorships in roles such as chefs, while others with master’s degrees in high-demand fields like cybersecurity have still struggled to find employment. |
