Most Nigerians are very easy to scam and that is why the politicians and the spiritualists easily deceive them!

Just because of my statement on Ellah lekos, they believe I have started buying the shares of Ellah lekos. If I didn't deem it fit to invest in Presco or Okomu;then, what will now make me to invest in a company with a negative EPS? cheesy
The Jijo gangs are very delusional! angry

It is not smartness. It is u being not straight or fraudulent. They have shown it in many ways from the days of taking stock brokers for paparazzi. The secret of the true farm, head office and the mill in progress. Then the charades of the last agm.The debt conversion and incomplete quater results .
This present management is the biggest problem. I have always said it because I have understanding of how that sector works than any sector. The landbank alone should make that business to be making enough revenue to cover expenses before the oil business even if u don't want to do it directly. U could have leased it out in portions to smaller farmers to generate revenue for expenses
You're probably right

Since it is not yet profitable why dont you use Price/ Sale.

Compare the revenue to market capitalization. Average Price/Sale ratio in the sector is currently 3.5
Since it is not generating revenue for now, you can't use price to sales rather book value looks better

It is generating revenue, but it not a reasonable revenue

The book value per share it is N6. Since it is not generating revenue and making profit, the book value per share should be discounted.

Reason why someone in their Whatsapp group told them to sell at N10 or thereabout

Is N100 million for a full year or N70 million in 9 months a reasonable revenue for a business with a market capitalization of N58 billion.

We are not talking about profit here ooo, talking of revenue

Oando is very indebted and you expect me to even buy a unit! angry

Okay let's assume the Full Year EPS is N3.71 for 2025 financial year. This N3.71 is more than 25 percent of the current stock price of FCMB

My question is can Geregu,Okomu,Presco and Nestle make up to N250,N260,N340 and N440 respectively as their full year EPS for 2025?

From the above, you can see that FCMB has better intrinsic value and is more of a blue chip company than those other 4 companies that their market capitalization is more than 1 trillion Naira! grin
You have not factored in risks. Most banks have their p/e ratios between 1 and 3. This is because their asset qualities are not quite transparent, especially with the talk of forebearance. Almost all of them have high concentration loans to a single obligor in the energy sector. Any mishap can turn that p/e ratios to 100 or even negative. I should disclose that I just reallocated my portfolio to the high quality banks except GTB despite what I just said.

You think an average dividend yield of 10% is a fluke? Dividend don't lie.

This for the people who want to invest in insurance sector.
Use nem insurance as bench mark.I used nem because it was a stock I had plenty afolabi units and later sold at #2 plus. I regret it.
Which of the insurance stock do u feel can repeat what nem has done from the 2 plus to 30 plus based on fundamentals. If u find such insurance stock. My advise is accumulate now.
I think it is still NEM. For all the talks about the new opportunities in insurance business because of the new insurance bill, it is NEM that is better positioned to take advantage. This is because NEM has a higher percentage of it's business in insurance compared to others and has the capital to take on more business. Same can be said of AIICO but AIICO has an history of underperforming it's peers if you look at capital employed and premium volumes.

Their intentions have always been to pump and dump. They have never had any intention of holding for long. The final bag holders will be at the receiving end. huh

At least a revenue of about 1 billion Naira would have been reasonable for a company with a market capitalization of about 50 billion Naira.
50 x sales is crazy! Not for any Nigerian company.
