EDUECO:Yes, I know that. The multiples of book value over capitalization and low p/e ratios are the primary reasons I reallocated my portfolio to the quality banks. However, a single incident of write off of a large troubled asset can wipe off the shareholders' funds and the p/b ratio is suddenly not as juicy as it looks. |

emmanuelewumi:Book value can be used as there are matured similar businesses in ELLAH’s space. |

Dupeodus:That’s the BIG risk with banks price to book. And why CBN is there as an additional layer of checks on top of audit firms. Shareholder funds can just disappear into thin air due to poor risk management. |

BabsO2:But it is selling at a premium to it Book Value of 6. It should sell at a discount The net asset of about N23 billion could only generate a meagre revenue of less than N70 million in 9 months |

Pls am using Meristem and I want to withdraw from my trading account to my bank account. I want to know the maximum amount one can withdraw in a single withdrawal. Am looking to withdraw ₦20M but am thinking they might not allow me. Though ve done 4.99M for several days, several times being careful not to cross 5M. Ve checked everywhere online but haven't found a resource that will give answer to this question. I actually want Loko to answers my question. My first time posting here and I need a zeal from him. Ve been here for decades though but never posted. Thank You |

NajibatAde:First, your dad needs to open a stock/cscs account with a broker. To make the transfer easy, you can also open an account with the same broker. Then, send the share certificate to the stockbroker for the demat process. Demat is the process of digitalizing the paper certificate and also other holdings that the certificate may not be available will all be deposited in his cscs account. With that done, he can do a transfer/a cross deal with you for you to have the shares in your cscs account. crownprince2017:It was incorporated about 6 years ago and started business 4 years ago Expected to make a revenue of N4.8 billion in 2026 and an operating loss of N1.6 billion A revenue of N35 billion in 2027 and an operating profit of N35 billion A revenue of N72 billion in 2028 and an operating profit of N44 billion A revenue of N120 billion in 2029 and an operating profit of N85 billion We all know that Presco and her subsidiaries usually exceed their forecasts Ellah Lakes that is older than SOP should give a similar projection so that investor can have something to work with |

emmanuelewumi:Did you recall your statement about ellahlakes reports before this new development? How you magnified the loss as if it was not normal but it's normal for SOP. ![]() What about the machine yet to be acquired being valued in the transaction, does it make sense? I honestly love to be educated on this. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megawealth01: 8:03pm On Aug 15, 2025 |
emmanuelewumi:I understand your concerns about ELLAH and I've pointed it out here. MORDI should be open to investors/shareholders on certain developments. He was also told that during the just concluded AGM... I love when people are constructive and that's exactly what you are trying to do |

While this play is still feasible, there is still a risk involved that EL may have topped, if that be the case then, the following can be expected 13.15 -15 to 17-18 to 11. Personally, i will be selling on the way to 18...that is the best risk free play here....DYOR and protect your money. EL will still touch sub 10 before YE. Update: EL headed for 30 -35......staying in..& watching

emmanuelewumi:Do I need to tell you that ellahlakes have started generating revenue. Or you mean SOP promised 4.5 b revenue in 2026? |

crownprince2017:Assuming it has 1 billion outstanding shares like Presco, and can deliver the forecast operating profit of N85 billion in 2029 and Probably a net profit after tax of N50 billion. That will be an EPS of N50 at a conservative PE of 8 although the average PE in the industry is currently 10. That business is expected to have a market capitalization of about N400 billion in 2029. But will be bought for an equivalent of N68 billion in 2025 or early 2026 |

Personally, I don't want to believe the revenue figures quoted by Ellah Lakes. I believe it is higher than that. Micro and smaller businesses are generating more N70 million revenue in 9 months |
