Time will tell.. Ellah will be hoooooge... despite the shortcomings of management.. which will be substantially remedied.. as time goes on
I say a big Amen to that.

I am always skeptical whenever one is being optimistic about an investment or business that is not showing workings and evidence of the workings

100? grin
I disagree.

good news analysis can't carry it. There will be a limit.

It will be organic growth at some point with presentable AFS.

Make I dey see PR magic with the incoming OS.

emmanuelewumi:
For that to be justified based on the current 3.6 billion shares of the company.

Ellah must make a revenue of N72 billion and profit after tax of N36 billion at a net profit margin of 50%.

That will give it EPS of N10 and probably pay a dividend of N7 per share

It is very possible, they only need to show workings and evidence
The question intelligent investors should be asking themselves is how long will it take for Ellah Lakes revenue to increase from the current N100 million per annum to over N72 billion per annum

To my elders, I salute.
I did not build my portfolio by being "careful" over the past 5 years, most notably the last 2 years( it doesn't warrant "carefulness"). Calculated risks were leveraged.

The ELLAH road is without doubt not a straight path. If you're not able to bounce back( in case of any eventuality) of which the worst case is a physical attack on biological assest, kindly stay out. You can call it gamble, I call it high risk-high reward.

Know what you buy and why you buy!

I totally understand.. calculated risk for me has paid off with Ellah that I bought N3:30. I also has "divine analysis" on my side. The prospects are also encouraging.. Ellah definitely has a plan.. let's give them a chance.. if Presco and Okomu can be that huge, surely Ellah can do a fraction

Oando's stock price 15 years ago. When you consider time value of money, inflation and coupled with the fact that dividends were not paid for many years

You chose to ignore the other things I said .. Also note that I said "a fraction". I always choose my words carefully
p.s. why compare unity bank with Ellah? Ellah has now put up a clear plan and is now pursuing it . No disrespect to Unity Bank but Ellah is really dreaming big... I'll take my chances

If we’re being realistic, the jump from ₦100 million to ₦72 billion a year is not just about “time” — it’s about strategy, execution, and market forces.

For Ellah Lakes, the path depends on a few factors:

1. Expansion Speed – How quickly can they scale farmland, processing plants, and distribution? Agriculture is not like fintech; growth is tied to seasons, land size, and infrastructure.

2. Capital & Partnerships – ₦72 billion revenue means massive investment. Without strong financing, strategic alliances, or government-backed incentives, it could take decades. With the right partners, that timeline could shrink drastically.

3. Market Demand – They must secure both local and export markets. Nigeria alone has the demand, but tapping into international supply chains is where the real billions flow.

4. Operational Efficiency – Post-harvest losses, logistics bottlenecks, and corruption are silent killers of agribusiness in Nigeria. If they can cut wastage and boost efficiency, growth compounds faster.

So instead of asking “How long will it take?” the smarter angle is “What levers must Ellah Lakes pull to 720x revenue, and how fast can those levers realistically be pulled in Nigeria’s business environment?”

If they get it right, we could be talking 10–15 years. If they stumble with the usual Nigerian challenges, 30 years or never.

The intelligent investor should be watching execution pace, partnerships, and market penetration — those will tell you whether the 72-billion dream is a decade away or a mirage.

It will take minimum of 5 years to increase revenue from N100 million to N72 billion

Even if revenue grows consistently at 250% per annum for the next 5 years revenue will be around N52.5 billion in 5 years time.

A compounded annualized revenue growth of 250% is massive

Summary is for them to show workings and evidence

Check out the Math. Current equity is less than N25 billion, but want to raise N250 billion.

Probably people who invest in the planned N250 billion public offer, will own 45% of the business.

I don't think intelligent investors will buy that although we have more of emotional and unintelligent investors in the market

The best bet is for them to have a right offer, but I know that can't work. Because most of the current shareholders are looking for a greater fool. So a right offer can't fly
My brother dey relax watch the movie. When it's time to buy we will know.

I know a guy who bought Okomu at N11 and sold for N70. Be used the proceed to buy a house in Katampe in Abuja. House he is currently living in with his wife.

Now the guy that bought from him at N70 has also made money of he is still holding.

My point is, I don't need to get in at the bottom in order to make money from a company. You buy now, I buy later, we will all make money.

Market no dey close tomorrow. I'm comfortable buying at a higher price of I get more clarity on what I am buying.

Investing is not a team sport.

Its so interesting seeing people feeling like the gods of the market.
What will you expect from someone that sold his Ella at 4 just because he believed it will turn back and never return, saying the same thing at 19 even though he regretted for selling at 4.

I wondered how people come here to predict the market they had no control over, I know at 10 you would have told the person that bought at that price the same thing.

A company we are yet to have metrics to value can swing up the way we never imagined if the valuation is more than what the majority are imagining and do the other way round as well when the reality hit the market.

Well, many of you will still eat your words when the price go above 20 like you have done in the past.

Ella is at the point that a news could change everything, people speculating are not stupid.

Every possibility is open here and that is the reality.
I'm not getting sucked into this nonsense
