Time will tell.. Ellah will be hoooooge... despite the shortcomings of management.. which will be substantially remedied.. as time goes on
I like the management oh. I pretty much one everything about the company, I just know, based on what management has said, that the journey is still far

The question intelligent investors should be asking themselves is how long will it take for Ellah Lakes revenue to increase from the current N100 million per annum to over N72 billion per annum
There will be substantial revenue increase in the next 4 years. Listen to the Twitter interview

Are you not the guy who wrote about the below average gross margin of Chams few months ago

I prefer a gross margin of 50% and above
No I'm not. It's not Chams

But I doubt if it will be up to N72 billion.

The talk of N72 billion was due to the guy who said the stock price would get to N100 and said for that to be justified Ellah must make a revenue of N72 billion, profit after tax of N36 billion and EPS of N10
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by unite4real: 7:56pm On Aug 17, 2025
I hope some are not viewing the N250 billion as a grant.

The massive dilution effects should be heavily considered. Then the extreme patience for both top and bottom lines to make sense

We don't know the potential earnings of the mill so we can't judge. It's unfair to use the N70m as a basis because business just dey start.

Let the real business start then you can judge how big the business will be. According to the trust interview they won't hit Max earnings till 4 years time. So time still dey

That's how one beer company on the ngx currently have over 168 Billion units of outstanding shares. It is profitable but struggling with over 60X PE ratio

I agree with you.
The first red flag i notice is continuous reduction in revenue followed by dwindling margins.
Those are No..no for me.
They are early warnings e.g Tripple Gee.
If revenue is dwindling Q on Q and YoY, na to start to dey prepare my kaiya t run.
Another is CCC (cash conversion Cycle) for manufacturing / consumer / production companies.
If your payable days are increasing - struggling to pay suppliers, Inventory conversion ratio increasing - struggling to produce and fill up goods and also struggling to sell, Receivables oustanding increasing - struggling to collect your cash from customers / literarily begging customers to take and sell your goods, it is a big redflag to me.
Inventory increasing faster than revenue and earnings
Receivables increasing faster than revenue and earnings to name a few
You can't totally judge with CCC, there may be reasons why Receivables for Eg is growing faster, which you may not be able to know, except you speak with the CFO.

Take Mecure for Eg. They have had an unloved CCC in since last year, but when you speak with the management you will get a better picture.

I have the LOA & Estate account already, they are asking for soft copy of where it was published on the newspaper and all share certificates
They are being mischievous. If you go to the registrars yourself they will give the real requirement. You don't need share certificates. It's been phased out.

Its so interesting seeing people feeling like the gods of the market.
What will you expect from someone that sold his Ella at 4 just because he believed it will turn back and never return, saying the same thing at 19 even though he regretted for selling at 4.

I wondered how people come here to predict the market they had no control over, I know at 10 you would have told the person that bought at that price the same thing.

A company we are yet to have metrics to value can swing up the way we never imagined if the valuation is more than what the majority are imagining and do the other way round as well when the reality hit the market.

Well, many of you will still eat your words when the price go above 20 like you have done in the past.

Ella is at the point that a news could change everything, people speculating are not stupid.

Every possibility is open here and that is the reality.

Pa Emma…
Will you mind sharing with us some of your decisions that resulted to a loss? How things didn’t go as you thought. Except we want to believe every decision you made resulted to success.
This question came right in time.

Currently, all my portfolios except Jaiz are red. Even the Jaiz self has reduced in return.

I have the following (with current return at -2.0% of the total money invested):

ABCTRANS bought at 5.42 - bought because I read a positive new about the company.

ARADEL bought at 528.53 - bought because the value is close to all-time low and based on technical/fundamental analysis

DS bought at 63.62 - bought because it is increasing, but didn't sell because it still has a strong fundamental

JAIZ bank bought at 4.53 - bought because I believe the bank will do well in the future

BUA Cement bought at 178.25 - ought because it is increasing. I didnt realize it was close to all time high

TRANSCORP bought at 52.70 - bought because it has a strong fundamental.

My plan is starting with 1.2million, but I have realized that these would turn into dust if care is not taken. How I wish I had read some previous conversion before making my investment decision.

Pa Emma, I was touched by your statement about "smart people learn from expert experience and those who want to learn from personal experience will suffer the most." Not that I'm learning based on my personal experience, but I can't factor out the fact that a 3 weeks old potential investor like me should be very patient. That I have money does not mean I have to make a wary investment decision.

megawealth2, come to my aid, edakun. You once said something about POVERTY and PROUDNESS. I am not proud o.

1. I am potential investor, not really a trader. Currently running my PhD (Maths and Stat) in graduate school, so I don't have time for daily trading.
2. I am not interested in an interest based banks, breweries industries, gambling/lotto industry as well.

I know a guy who bought Okomu at N11 and sold for N70. Be used the proceed to buy a house in Katampe in Abuja. House he is currently living in with his wife.

Now the guy that bought from him at N70 has also made money of he is still holding.

My point is, I don't need to get in at the bottom in order to make money from a company. You buy now, I buy later, we will all make money.

Market no dey close tomorrow. I'm comfortable buying at a higher price of I get more clarity on what I am buying.

Investing is not a team sport.

Some of us can remember how some people bombarded this place with plenty sweet words about aradel when listed on ngx, they even gave us a time line despite some people telling us about the dilution they were coming with.

What is the story today, I'm not saying the fundamentals of the company is bad but to point out the fact that nobody can time the market and also numbers are not the only thing that determines selling price of a stock.

Why would someone speak authoritatively as if they know the direction of the Market.

We were all in this market when people were running away from Julius Berger not quite long at sub 30s what is the price today.

That might be possible in those days, i am not saying the story is true or not. I remember as a student in those days, i was late for my flight, passed the airline counter and running towards the tarmac, i saw the ladder being pulled away from the plane, i can't remember if the door was closed or not, i was yelling and running at the staff, they rolled the ladder back, door opened and i went it. A lot has changed after 9/11.

Make I laugh in French. Thr is no possibility of 3 tonnes mill ever generate such amount even if if it runs at full capacity in a yr. Unless it turns to miracle worker. To achieve even 7 billion will require alot of operational efficiency. It will need to increase to serious capacity and have larger plantation to ever think of 72 billion

In the interviews if listened. The ceo said if the present 3 Mills is to run at full capacity. It will require to do FFB from outside. This was reason I now branded kpakus then to a palm garden instead of farm Oga wanjo equally came to say they are danm too small.
You see because they don't do fact based attack they result to personal attacks and name calling to get likes. They do it to get nodding from thr audio billionaire and insider syndicate here.
