Make I laugh in French. Thr is no possibility of 3 tonnes mill ever generate such amount even if if it runs at full capacity in a yr. Unless it turns to miracle worker. To achieve even 7 billion will require alot of operational efficiency. It will need to increase to serious capacity and have larger plantation to ever think of 72 billion

In the interviews if listened. The ceo said if the present 3 Mills is to run at full capacity. It will require to do FFB from outside. This was reason I now branded kpakus then to a palm garden instead of farm Oga wanjo equally came to say they are danm too small.
You see because they don't do fact based attack they result to personal attacks and name calling to get likes. They do it to get nodding from thr audio billionaire and insider syndicate here.
heard they added Garden egg and groundnuts to improve land yield, they can achieve 100billion, if they buy some farms in Kano too, the state has a massive 🪴🌿plantation with APC groundnut pyramids. People don't know how had it is to make money.

This question came right in time.

Currently, all my portfolios except Jaiz are red. Even the Jaiz self has reduced in return.

I have the following (with current return at -2.0% of the total money invested):

ABCTRANS bought at 5.42 - bought because I read a positive new about the company.

ARADEL bought at 528.53 - bought because the value is close to all-time low and based on technical/fundamental analysis

DS bought at 63.62 - bought because it is increasing, but didn't sell because it still has a strong fundamental

JAIZ bank bought at 4.53 - bought because I believe the bank will do well in the future

BUA Cement bought at 178.25 - ought because it is increasing. I didnt realize it was close to all time high

TRANSCORP bought at 52.70 - bought because it has a strong fundamental.

My plan is starting with 1.2million, but I have realized that these would turn into dust if care is not taken. How I wish I had read some previous conversion before making my investment decision.

Pa Emma, I was touched by your statement about "smart people learn from expert experience and those who want to learn from personal experience will suffer the most." Not that I'm learning based on my personal experience, but I can't factor out the fact that a 3 weeks old potential investor like me should be very patient. That I have money does not mean I have to make a wary investment decision.

megawealth2, come to my aid, edakun. You once said something about POVERTY and PROUDNESS. I am not proud o.

PS:
1. I am potential investor, not really a trader. Currently running my PhD (Maths and Stat) in graduate school, so I don't have time for daily trading.
2. I am not interested in an interest based banks, breweries industries, gambling/lotto industry as well.

Since you are not interested in interest based companies,so UCAP and Nigerian banks are out of the options available to you.

If I were you I will sell every stocks in this your portfolio and invest the proceed in Dangote Cement.

You can never go wrong with Dangote Cement. Dangote Cement has a better earning than BUA cement. Its dividend yield is also better than that of BUA Cement.

Oando's stock price 15 years ago. When you consider time value of money, inflation and coupled with the fact that dividends were not paid for many years
That was Oando as a DOWNSTREAM company and it was paying regular dividend of N2-N4 around that time.
Oando started having problems when they transited to UPSTREAM company with the acquisituon of overvalued assets of Conocco Philips and global oil prices collapsed thereafter. They are now restructuring in order to come out of that challenge. The Upstream sector is much more capital intensive and riskier but equally more rewarding if things go well.

But I doubt if it will be up to N72 billion.

The talk of N72 billion was due to the guy who said the stock price would get to N100 and said for that to be justified Ellah must make a revenue of N72 billion, profit after tax of N36 billion and EPS of N10

Aradel is not a bad company. The results is there for all to see, maybe you bought immediately it was listed because of the frenzy and rush to get a piece of the action. I believe it dropped as low as N400. But, now the price is fairly stable around N500. If you had accumulated, your cost price would have been nearer the market price now.

Lesson learnt: Always pick more of a good stock to average down in price. Also, consider buy good stocks in bits and pieces (tranches)

Some of us can remember how some people bombarded this place with plenty sweet words about aradel when listed on ngx, they even gave us a time line despite some people telling us about the dilution they were coming with.

What is the story today, I'm not saying the fundamentals of the company is bad but to point out the fact that nobody can time the market and also numbers are not the only thing that determines selling price of a stock.

Why would someone speak authoritatively as if they know the direction of the Market.

We were all in this market when people were running away from Julius Berger not quite long at sub 30s what is the price today.

It will take minimum of 5 years to increase revenue from N100 million to N72 billion

Even if revenue grows consistently at 250% per annum for the next 5 years revenue will be around N52.5 billion in 5 years time.

A compounded annualized revenue growth of 250% is massive

Summary is for them to show workings and evidence

Nestle stock price 15 years ago. It also issued 2 bonus shares in the last 2 years.

All these shows that stocks that created extraordinary wealth for shareholders in the last 15 to 25 years are not banking stocks with the exception of GTCO and Zenith

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom:
The share certificates should not be mandatory IF:

1. the deceased had only one stockbroker. Simply reach out to them for the dematerialization.
2. the deceased had CSCS online access. If not, you can create one if you have their CHN and CSCS account number.

However, if the holdings was all analogue, you'll have to do a search on the sec website for unclaimed dividends to ascertain the shares held.
The details you extract, will be used to contact the registrars.

You need to realize that the LA has to reflect ALL the shares held.
That means you have to update the LA after you have gotten the list of shares held.
Also, for you to be given attention, you have to be an administrator of the estate.

@ the bolded
Yes I have.
I didn't have to submit any share certificate because the deceased had only one stockbroker and an active CSCS online access so it was quite easy 😊

Hamachi:
Lol! Have you done it before? The process is overong, I should go and bring all share certificates? What?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 8:15am On Aug 18, 2025
True. 10% to 15%.
In my case, the probate registrars were too lazy to make research that they simply used ₦1 for the SP of all the units.

Ended up paying less than 2% smiley

Mpeace:
It is not that difficult. It is just expensive.
Letter of administration will take like 15% of the cost of the shares depending on the state.
Then you identify the particular registrar for each company and make the necessary applications and fees for confirmation of the Letter of admin.

What is your recommendation for those of us that are holding the bag for insurance stock, cut the loss buy selling and possibly buy back later or continue to suffer loss and hope for a rebound?

Good morning house.

I made an enquiry regarding my eligibility for CHAMS RI, which I later got to know I am eligible but the only issue I have now is how to apply.

I got a form from them which I was to fill but it's not going through.

Below is the screenshot of the form.[sup][/sup]

Oando the future
An integrated energy company is one that operates in the upstream(exploration & production), midstream (refining) and downstream (distribution) sectors of the oil and gas value chain
So when did Oando become an ''integrated energy company'' with crude oil exploration & production, refining, gas processing plant etc, plus distribution (gas filling stations)?

When did Oando become an ''integrated energy company''
It was an integrated energy firm when the public offer was marketed 20 year ago

Also spent over $1 billion for the purchase of ConocoPhillips asset about 13 years ago, we thought that would be the game changer.

That does not mean things won't change in the future, afterall the motto of the company is " Oando- the future".

The ''integrated energy company'' may be a cliche that most Nigerian oil companies like to use for PR & marketing (like how individuals make use of titles), but it could never have been a truly integrated energy company without operations in the E&P sector.
I am talking about substance rather than form.

Many of the stocks you bought are good but you might have bought at the wrong time.
Advising you on what to do might be difficult as no one knows the future.
If the market continues with the bullish run, then you will be fine.
On the other hand if bears rear its head it might be a long journey.
If you have come to the market last year and bought those shares, you probably by now be feeling like a pro.....Luck is a big factor in this game.
