Nobody knows anything. There is no foolproof in stock market. You may see a beautiful stock with sound fundamental losing the maximum 10%. Then you see another so-called junk stock appreciating by maximum 10%. Then, you begin to wonder what is happening. @ yMcy56 I always enjoy your amateur perspective. Wonder if I will be able to understand you when you turn professional grin grin
Like some will say, stock market is sporty bet on suit and tie🤣. The market o, not the investment. Some times the market no send fundamentals...

Just buy Access Holdings Plc. Any time you get free money always top up Access Holdings Plc.

I appreciate you dearly. Thanks sir/ma

My advice: Start with one or two stable banking stocks (say GTCO and UBA), and just observe. With your stage in life, the most important thing isn’t to chase big money quickly, but to build the discipline of saving + investing. In a few years, that discipline will put you ahead of many people.

I stand by what i said and i even went ahead and explained myself. You can never predict this market accurately. Your chart, graphs, fundamental analysis. technical analysis, sentiments etc are taking you to a direction while the market is taking you to an opposite direction.

That's the point. Just imagine if everyone could predict the market. Let's take Japaul as an example; we all know that by 22nd it would be 2.30 and that by 29th it will be 4.60 and that by Sep 5th it will be 3.00 and so on.
When you know that it will reverse at 2.30, who will sell at 2.30?
It will never get to 2.30 and it will never get to 4.60.
Unpredictability is necessary.

Yes u are right nobody knows anything. That is what happens when ur aim is to be getting money from ngx for immediate needs like school fees , feeding money and other bills.
The ngx becomes family bet naija for all immediate cash provision...lol.
Those who don't fall into this category knows enough as investors and workings of businesses listed on ngx

Hmnnnn Aradel? I have lost millions, and it's not even wise to sell at this point. It's my biggest miscalculation on the NGX.

We can't always win. We get some right and some wrong.
Bolded remains paper lost, except you have sold. Aradel is a good stock with good fundamentals. The problem from beginning till date seems to be that some entity holds more than enough units, that they are still hell bent on selling. However, I see the stock appreciating well after release of Q3 result, which may likely come with interim dividend.

It is very easy to dismiss and negate an idea—very, very easy. Many stocks would have delivered good returns. Take Ellah Lakes, for example. I saw it when it was at ₦3, dipping every now and then below that level. If I had drawn the line at ₦3, I could have taken any supply below while selling each time it gained 5–10%.

There are many stocks in that category because they had either solid fundamentals or strong speculative hope—not just any random stock. Ellah is not the only one. Go and check the charts and you’ll see a number of stocks that maintained a floor until a rally eventually broke them out to the upside.

Of course, there is risk, but that risk is mitigated through careful selection and by working within a narrow buy-sell window. Anyway, I already know from this thread that you all have one way of thinking, and anything outside that must be considered wrong without critical justification. Please continue—your way is the only viable way.
Firstly what you are suggesting is either a pump and dump scheme or a mutual fund. Running the first is illegal and doing the second without a license is also illegal.

I am so sure some people are already manipulating penny stocks.
Just pick one without fundamentals and begin to sell hope.
Follow the 'Ellah' route by using social media, stockbrokers and market sentiment.
Una really grow up in the era of crypto. Make una continue
