I have short attention span but since the beginning of this year, it has been worse and my WhatsApp DMs are a mess, I respond to some and ignore some. My head FULL.

I have had men start chasing me since I was in primary/secondary school, my body matured quite early which didn't help matters and till date, I am still not used to Men's attention. It DRAINS ME infact. It is tiring.

Due to the number of irrelevant messages I receive from your gender, I don't pick calls from random men once it passes 9/10pm. The exception is close family, friends, gist buddies or the LOML.

Only today, I've received numerous chats from men folks but let me show you just two examples.

The first picture: He's a professional senior colleague, an opposing counsel whom I came in contact with while representing my client. I've only met him once at the police station in course of discharging my services but since then, he has decided to be a nuisancé in my DM. Yesterday, he said he wanted to hang out on a weekend and I'm like "I can only spare 4hrs of my time" and he's saying it's small? And goes ahead to say gibberish. I simply ignored him, he texted me this morning and I didn't respond.
PS: I've warned him severally that I'm not interested but he's a phóôl. I can't even block him because I still need to work with him.

The last picture is an Alhaji in ______ Group of Companies. I came in contact with him through work. I wonder how he attained to the height of his career with his bad written English. This one sef I can't block him because I work with him. But yet he acts unprofessional.


So yeah. Not every woman desires male attention from unwanted men. If u don't mind we talk on WhatsApp. Rules stands. No changing of the narrative. And if u can't do the WhatsApp chat, then let me give u some advise. Try and cut off guys from chatting and calling u at all times except the bosses u work with. I mean only official issues. And see the truth staring back at u.

Every coin has two sides, please. No highroading is allowed. A pretty "Sistah" in our fellowship rejected a long queue of "Brothas" (including yours truly). We all went out ways, got married, kids now quite grown. She's still single, well into her forties.

For the life of me, I don't understand what she was doing. Well.......I still kinda hope she finds someone even now. It's not too late.

Perhaps she doesn't want to get married. The reality is that not everyone would marry. We have relatives who we know are not married, don't have children, or are divorced. Young people should understand that things happening today have happened in yesteryears. So nothing is entirely new. The difference is that things now get wider publicity.
