I advice you reach the office. You should be paid. Its your right. I work with insurance firm. Are you in North? Say Kaduna or Abuja? Do you have the policy documents. I might refer you to someone.

There is a lot of misinformation out there about insurance in Nigeria.
Most of those who take up insurance policies don't bother to read the policy document, people just rely on what they hear other said or what the agents that are marketing the policy tell them.
It is so unfortunate that even the educated ones are not left out in the misinformation.

Registrar's hardly make such mistakes....
I don't see it as mistake......BUT could be some errors in qualification Date, which could result in him getting qualified.

I once qualified for NEM's dividend, sold it off thinking I qualified but eventually didn't get paid.
When I did some checks, I realized there were changes made to the qualification Date.

Though rare, but it do happen sometimes.

I would imagine it wasn't a mistake too since these processes are automated.

But there can also be unhandled edge cases that explain his experiences.

I was just thinking.....

I believe people who TP from the insurance Coy were hoping to get into banking sector, but the uncertainty with the interim dividend thwarted their plans. In coming weeks I see them returning into the insurance stocks. Plus, the insurance has corrected itself...We expect another leg up.

That's around $8k in '08.

If you had put it as USD in a vehicle that did just 5% p.a compounded, it would have been around N27. 5m today.

It could have been higher if you had purchased land with it in almost any part of Lagos.

But N1.7m is still better than nothing too.

I've refused to cry ..... imagine if I bought Bitcoin?..... grin
