Hey guys, I want to apply to Wrexham University, asides the fact that their tuition is affordable, they also offer advanced practice for my program. The issue (not sure it's an issue yet anyways) now is they are a really low ranked university. My question is will it matter when trying to get jobs? I'm just spitballing but maybe employers would have reservations about giving jobs (skilled worker's visa) to graduates from such universities??... Then also, I'll appreciate any other review about the university |

Marcgrace:First step. Declare all your refusal and during your applications, upload all of them.. If I may ask, what are you doing currently.. What year was the visa refusal? This two questions are very important to address how you will tailor your statement of purpose.. Because you need to make the home office know that ever since the previous refusal, you have improve your self positivity and financially.. That is, you have rectify that by working various jobs(show proof) and that you have been saving some percentage of those money.. You show attached two statements.. one explaining the refusal details and how you have improved yourself over the years and the second is statement of purpose, explaining why your master degree is important to you along side your future goals and why you will need to come back to Nigeria to support, help/ add to the current society such as giving back to the community.. Very important.. you can also claim that all your family are in Nigeria and you will like to live with them in Nigeria after masters, that's if your master is not research. You just have to show tangible proof that you will leave UK after your master for the purpose of the visa application. And please, if you are doing the new application, irrespective of the number of days your visa might take, ensure the money is in your account till you get a positive news. Ire ooo |

jintex:Dude this is very simple, if they stopped you at the POE and asked if you have the money you presented during the application and you said yes and you are asked to show them, you have many options, you can open your bank app, or show them in one of the cash machines at the airport. This is a random thing, they don't stop everybody to ask this but if you are picked then get ready to show them the money. |

Proof of Funds Requirement (Tier 4 / Student Route) 1. Living Costs From 2 January 2025: Studying in London → £1,483 per month (up to 9 months) → maximum £13,348 Studying outside London → £1,136 per month (up to 9 months) → maximum £10,224 2. Tuition Fees You must show enough money to pay outstanding tuition fees for the first year of your course (or the entire course if shorter than a year). This figure is specified on your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies). So the total funds required = tuition fees (first year/whole course) + living costs (as above). The 28-Day Rule The required funds must be in your (or your parent’s/legal guardian’s) account for at least 28 consecutive days. The last day of that 28-day period must be within 31 days before your visa application date. Acceptable Evidence Bank statements (official, showing name, account number, bank name, balance, dates). If Using Parent’s/Guardian’s Funds You must also provide: Your birth certificate (or equivalent proof of relationship). A signed letter of consent from the parent/guardian giving you access to the funds. Example: Tuition fees: £12,000/year Already paid(For CAS Deposit) : £4,000 Balance owed: £8,000 Studying in London (9 months): £13,348 Total proof of funds required = £8,000 + £13,348 = £21,348 Racheal45: |

Hi everyone, I’m going for my biometrics on Wednesday and I’m trying to decide whether to stick with the standard visa or switch to the priority service for a quicker decision. My school resumes on September 21, and I need a week or two to properly plan. What would you suggest? Please Advice… |
