emmanuelewumi:Sir, thanks for posting this report. Though not very legible but I can say the lines I was able to read are pointers to a great company to be birthed in Agricultural sector . More lights shed on the activities of this company, how robust the company is as well as highlighting the potentials and future prospects of ELLAHLAKES. Renewed interest is expected in ELLAH because the analysis points to the fact that they're really at the investing stages, in which funds are being injected and still being injecting. On the financials aspect, I think what was arrived at is expected....when establishing a company for instance, funds keeps entering and immediate gains/profits or revenues are not always expected or the first target. Meristem might have worked with what was on ground but did they factor-in other near future developments and expected turnarounds? Or did I miss anything? Like I said, I've not read everything on the analysis. A link to download will be appreciated. I hope Street investor is able to read this analysis with an open mind. |

ELLAHLAKES I think there's much ado about nothing on the noises about this company. Let's give them a chance and not kill ELLAH even from inception....... the relief is that the management aren't much bothered about the negativities being pestered around, but rather, they're more focused on making the company a success. I've read a lot of negative comments which doesn't augur well for this company outlook, even to the potential investors, but hopefully, this negativities will rather attract more strategic investors, more foreign and local investors. I sincerely wish Ellahlakes a successful fund raising because, once the "Strategic Asset" they're targeting is able to click, the negative stories and outlook will change drastically....coupled with the palm oil mill, the diversified plantations, etc. For those who doesn't believe in ELLAH, it's simple, we have more than 50 stocks listed on NGX, simply bypass her for the ones you think are solid. The PRESCO we are celebrating today was once selling for N5, going by history. ELLAH might be another PRESCO in the making once everything goes well and according to plan. It's well with us all. |

oga bovis abi javis How do I explain to the younger generation that in the year 2005, the cost of transportation from Ajangbadi to Okokomaiko was just N10 (ten naira)? How do I explain that in 2006, the cost of IELTS exam was just N15,000? How do I explain that in 2006 while still living with my grandma, my pocket money was just N50, and that amount could cover transportation to and back from work and lunch. How do I explain that in 2013, I bought a brand new Laserjet printer, model Laserjet P2035 for N31,000? How do I explain this to this generation that in 2014, that I bought a Tiger 2.5KVA generator for N32,000 How do I explain that in November 2014, I bought a 50-Kg bag of imported rice hits N10,000 at the Mile 12 market in Lagos. Hw do I explain that the exchange rate for dollar to naira in 2015 was $1 = N197 How do I explain that a litre of fuel was sold for N65 in 20111, and was increased to N87 in January 2012. Whenever I remember how inflation has skyrocketed and crippled the Nigeria economy, rendering the value of money useless. I weep for this country. How our leaders both past and present had done nothing about the adverse of inflation and devaluation of the naira. it saddens my heart. What do you remember in the past that was so cheap that you can afford, that is now too expensive that you can no longer afford? Bovis: |

On Ellahlakes still, I'm currently doing some background checks on the purported strategic asset to be acquired, hopefully the proposal gets the required funding. It will boost Ellah's revenue in the short, to medium, to long term. At least, Meristem now established that the company is working as against what some of us were posting ignorantly here. Long termers will benefit if all things works fine. Remember it's just my own amateur perspective and opinion as usual. 🙂 * When UNILEVER for instance was sighted and posted here, it was selling at N11/12, it even dropped to circa N10 before it inched up small.....the company was at loss, but today, same UNILEVER is selling at circa N70... Everything is not about immediate sometimes... |

yMcy56:Unilever was a buy at N12 when I started buying it based on its very cheap valuation due to the cash balance of the company, free cash flow yield and FCF/Enterprise value that gave a yield of over 40% at that time. That is the advantage of being cash rich no matter the current challenges faced by a business, a cash rich business will come out stronger |

Finally, Aig Imokhuede has kicked out Roosevelt from being GMD/CEO of Access Bank. New MD is Innocent Ike. Will he truly be innocent? |

Good morning guys, Pardon me if a similar post has been created. Anyhow, I’m in the process of helping my father claim his unclaimed dividends. I caught wind of the unclaimed dividends on X and sure enough, my father’s name is there upon searching: Veritas Registrars Limited (Guinness Nigeria PLC), Meristem Registrars & Probate Services Ltd (Berger Paints and Neimeth), and First Registrars And Investor Services Limited (Cadbury Nigeria PLC). I’m currently on the self-service page and I have updated all the information. However, I’m stuck on the Clearing House Number. Note that my old man isn’t all too tech savvy and during a house move many years ago, these documents were not carried over. Does anyone know the ideal next step? I saw cscsnigeria in earlier pages here but the site is not working. Veritas Registrar site is down as well. |

You probably meant the HoldCo. Mr Ogbonna is still the MD/CEO of the bank. Mr Ike has actually been a Director at Access Bank before he left for Polaris. Let's see what he brings to the table... ![]() essentialone1: |

yMcy56:Unilever has outstanding shares of around 5 billion. Ellah lakes is planning to raise theirs to 16 billion. Companies that love to increase outstanding shares are often crooked with zero respect for shareholders. Those running the companies just want to collect fat salaries and bonuses while leaving investors and shareholders out in the sun to dry |
