Vision Concerning Ellah

I was lifted in the night, and I beheld Ellah as a tall cedar planted by the waters. Her branches spread wide, and the birds of the air found shade in her leaves. Men looked and said, ‘Behold Ellah, strong and unshakable!’

But suddenly a great wind arose from the east, and the roots of the cedar were revealed. They were shallow, feeding not on rock but on dust. And the tree trembled, and its branches snapped, and the birds fled in terror.

Then I saw merchants in the marketplace. They carried scales in their hands, yet the weights were false. They shouted loudly of profit, but their baskets were empty. A voice cried out: ‘Woe to those who trust in Ellah! For her height is pride and her fruit is vanity.’

And it came to pass that fire struck the cedar, and it fell with a crash heard in the farthest cities. Those who traded in her shade tore their garments and cast dust upon their heads, saying, ‘Alas, who shall restore Ellah?’

But to the humble I heard a whisper: ‘Fear not. Though the cedar has fallen, I will be your shelter. Though the market shakes, my rock shall not be moved.’

Note: that which has been revealed has been unveiled. Those who have ears, let them hear!

1. On Ellah Lakes - the directors loan of over 6 billion is a fraudulent scheme that will negatively impact shareholders as it will lead to increased outstanding shares which will be dumped on unsuspecting stock buyers. If you are a moralist, you'll question this. If you have sold your conscience for money then it doesn't really matter.

2. On minimising tax liability - learn to buy and sell at the right time to minimise your tax liability. If your stock appreciates, sell it and move the funds to a stock that doesn't depreciate or move much. To be safe, buy REITS with the proceeds and sell for cash withdrawal from your REIT or less volatile stock. By the time you do the calculation of price at which you bought the less volatile stock and price you're selling less expenses, it's the government that will owe you or your tax will be small or you'll not pay tax at all if your gain from selling through the less volatile stock is within 10 million. No need to adopt western style of using loans cos Nigeria interest rate is over 30% while theirs is less than 10%.

3. On Access - the intrinsic value of the stock is ₦20. If you are a bargain hunter then it's better to wait for price close to this intrinsic value. Remember that bank stocks are like currency, they depreciate over time due to increase in os, so don't be afraid to buy cheap.
Access at N20 you are a joker right?

Your fictitious "vision" (which is a brilliant work of literature) ends on an ambiguous note. 'But to the humble I heard a whisper: ‘Fear not. Though the cedar has fallen, I will be your shelter. Though the market shakes, my rock shall not be moved.’ so being humble is a factor that determines success in the stock market kwa? Just stick to Oando prognostication..

The problem with Access is that the managers are not just into pushing up of prices like UBA and others.
Even when they did their RI, the refused to push it up for better outcome

As per "Joseph" wey I be, make I interprete this vision grin

Unveiled:
Most likely Humble OandO
whose rock(root) will not be moved like Ellah despite Ellah's proud height and
the market shakes (bearish/pull_back of Ngx)
Inviting the humble to channel their loot to.....
and to remain tough if still in the "unveiled" boat. It's root will resist market shakes and it's will shelter incomers coming from "cedar"... grin

Thanks. Mine just worked now although they are yet to validate my bank account. I sent the 50 naira transfer to them already. Please how long would it take them to complete that process?
Their registration is so seamless compared to traditional brokers like Morgan Capital.
