Am in this position right now, I've been waiting for thei r email, my Uni enrolment begins on 15th of Sept. I've applied for visa since 30th of July, I've even done paid enquiry, I was told to keep expecting it, I messaged home office directly using their sheffield.student email address, I was told that they can only escalate it after 12 weeks.

Imagine this people. Sometimes I wonder how many days it take to make a decision. I actually understand that if you get your visa earlier, your case is being handled by junior caseworker but those ukvi tend to send "unable to make a decision" to.... always have their case handled by senior caseworker for reviewing.

This people didn't even look my side at all... I just feel lost right now. I don check reddit tire, still pple wey dey wait plenty small.

I even contact my bank to ask if ukvi has reached out to them, bank staff told me they haven't received any message from ukvi concerning my statement. Just imagine since more than 30 days ago.

I pray God help me out IJN and everybody in this kind of scenario as me IJN

All I can say here is nawa o because when we went got the first notification, we thought they had started processing the application and that in the next few days, she will get her success email, in short, she started shopping immediately after the mail.

Nothing o, nothing at all.

The thing is I travelled bck in 2022, came bck, now am traveling bck again.

I just dey very frustrated.. ND when I travelled back then, d visa came out within 2 days

Did my own biometrics on 8th , didn’t hear anything from them and then they sent this yesterday and I’m to resume school 15th September.

Can someone tell me why it's rare to hear testimonies of success visa application completed within 5 to 7 working days on this thread. I know of two persons outside this thread whose applications were processed within this time frame with positive outcome. And both of them made standard visa applications. What could be the reason for this long waiting time that is trending here? I did my biometric on the 15th of August. Recieved two notifications from UKVI on 20th and 22nd (survey email). No email at all throughout last week. I pray that there will be plenty of success stories this coming week.

But for the visa, what’s really causing such delays, I did mine on the 18th and I already worried!

Does it really matter if the application is self-completed or completed by an agent? Because these two persons' application were completed by two different agents.

Hello everyone, if you are applying as a dependant on your spouse visa who just gained admission from Nigeria and you have been in the UK for four years, do you need to provide maintenance POF?

Hey guys, I want to apply to Wrexham University, asides the fact that their tuition is affordable, they also offer advanced practice for my program. The issue (not sure it's an issue yet anyways) now is they are a really low ranked university. My question is will it matter when trying to get jobs?
I'm just spitballing but maybe employers would have reservations about giving jobs (skilled worker's visa) to graduates from such universities??...
Then also, I'll appreciate any other review about the university

Nothing extreme, really. They asked for CAS, my admission letter and my scholarship award letter after they asked if I've paid fees. Asked some other questions about what I studied back home, what I'm going to study and where. Simple process, honestly.
