Am in this position right now, I've been waiting for thei r email, my Uni enrolment begins on 15th of Sept. I've applied for visa since 30th of July, I've even done paid enquiry, I was told to keep expecting it, I messaged home office directly using their sheffield.student email address, I was told that they can only escalate it after 12 weeks.

Imagine this people. Sometimes I wonder how many days it take to make a decision. I actually understand that if you get your visa earlier, your case is being handled by junior caseworker but those ukvi tend to send "unable to make a decision" to.... always have their case handled by senior caseworker for reviewing.

This people didn't even look my side at all... I just feel lost right now. I don check reddit tire, still pple wey dey wait plenty small.

I even contact my bank to ask if ukvi has reached out to them, bank staff told me they haven't received any message from ukvi concerning my statement. Just imagine since more than 30 days ago.

I pray God help me out IJN and everybody in this kind of scenario as me IJN

Good afternoon house I am filling the form . is the nin card the same as national identity card and what is internal passport. As an answer to family in the uk , they mean like nuclear family right because i dont have details of my extended family in the uk. For someone that doesnt remember their national insurance number. What can I do because I never worked in the uk and I don’t currently recall the number do I put No and explain later on the form or just put no .

When choosing schools to attend in the UK, what should be an important factor when picking a school is the job opportunities in the city your school is located and when I say jobs I mean student jobs that would help get you through school. Unfortunately, no employer cares about about your masters or the ranking of your school. What they care about is your experience and relevant professional qualifications in your field. The experience and the PQ is what would make you stand out in the crowd which would eventually lead to you getting a big salary and sponsorship. I really wish everyone coming from Sept 2025 the best, the immigration laws aren't favouring immigrants but we Nigerians would always find our way, lol. It might all gloomy at first but don't worry it would become clear eventually. Be consistent, pray and be active in communities. You can't do it alone!! Best wishes everyone

1.Yes NIN is the same as national ID

2. International passport is your Nigerian passport

3. You don't have to add their all their details if you don't have

4. If don't have NI and never worked in the UK before then you got nothing to worry about.

Nothing extreme, really. They asked for CAS, my admission letter and my scholarship award letter after they asked if I've paid fees. Asked some other questions about what I studied back home, what I'm going to study and where. Simple process, honestly.

Do we have anybody here that his/her spouse is joining later in the UK on a study route, and has already gotten the EVISA.
