So the new entity will emerge as 'Providus Bank', since it is Unity shares that will be converted to Providus ?

Sorry, I haven't read the long documents you posted.

He said investment income cash flow and not net worth. I think it makes sense.
Understood perfectly what he meant

Just felt it is was very low to be in the top 5 % in Nigeria if Monthly grin grin , on second thought with gdp par capital at 2/3k dollars maybe justified

MrSamsung:
Sorry the bolded, is it annually, monthly, weekly or daily?
Our GDP per Capita is roughly $1000, someone whose investment income cash flow is 10 times of that should be in the top 5%. My opinion though

For a year ?
That’s just 1.2m a month . Wow

Or its monthly
Per annum.

The key word is investment income. Eg rent, dividend, royalties, coupon etc and not salary or trading profit.

By the time you add active income like salaries to the investment income, the total income will be far more than average

10k$ a month should put you in the top 1% in Nigeria

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

To one bargain hunter, a buy.
To another, a falling knife.

Before you buy, consider these questions/factors:
i. Do you have the appetite for the risk that Oando carries?
ii. Do you appreciate the potential future prospects and value of the company?
iii. Are you willing to wait for the long term (possibly more than 6 months and in 1 year)?

Not buy/sell advice.
DYOR

Note:
I cannot advise a newbie or inexperienced fellow to buy Oando at the moment because of its peculiar situation, even though I am bullish on it.

Thanks a lot, although I ain’t a newbie. Lol

I have avoided Oando for a while, same way I would never touch Ellah Lakes even if it goes to 50. The TA just doesn’t sit well with me.

My target entry for Oando is actually 37 based on my DD.

But no one can tell

Are you trying to say 2 million Nigerians make an annual investment income of $120,000 or N180 million per annum.

I don't think that is possible.

Anything can happen. Let Oando even go down to N20, so that the ''big hunters'' can ambush and hunt it down for a huge kill.

Unity Bank is more popular than Providus bank.
I heard about Providus when the issue of merger with Unity first came on board.
