HesInMe:People buy and sell for whatever reasons..... That's why it's called Market.... Some guys have insider info... * If WAPCO is not exiting NGX, then MTO will be launched to acquire minority shareholders (at the same price majority was acquired and usually 1%) in fulfillment of Rule that governs divestment or takeover. * Assuming the court ordered meeting takes place in less than 6months, then, WAPCO will have no choice than to pay the highest the share price got to....... HOWEVER, these companies are clever, they'll find a way of dragging it beyond the six months so they wont pay high. We can see this played out in the case of Mobil and few others. |

I think they are just moving with the market, nothing really to do with the stock itself. 20% off is around 734 which was achieved and surpassed this year. crownprince2017: |

The green of today isn't sustainable...this is what is still playing out. You can only keep averaging down until we hit the bottom pot. kintus: |

kintus:No one knows it all in this market.... You're just reading trend I guess.... Market can be unpredictable...... If you can categorically tell us when the market is hitting the bottom and it happens so, then I'll give it up for you. * Hope you have the patience of Agba to keep waiting and keeping vigil to wait for the bottom? Hope you're also ready to wait for as long as many years? If you see the bottom, hope you no go pick race again? 😁 |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by kintus(m): 1:20pm On Sep 04, 2025 |
The reason for TA and FA. Even though NGX act a bit unusual and out of this world (because I don't see it following the normal trend of market movement, rather manipulations here and there). Also, take note that none of the post is indicative of suggesting a bottom..NEVER.... yet, there is a place for use TA and FA in the opinions...... We have many newbies here and we can't keep encouraging unguarded entry into the market even when all indices suggest a need for patience and caution at a time like this. yMcy56: |

kintus:3-4X PE isn't "guarded" enough? If you guide too much, the newbies you're trying to help would only end up wishing they had bought when they had the chance. There has to be a fair balance between greed and fear, otherwise those newbies should perhaps stick to the money market, or buy equity funds. You get too greedy, you get burnt, You get too fearful, you miss out. These are certain! |

Is this your position different from mine? if you're so sure that my TA is without NAFDAC NO, why do you have to wait till next week or third week of Sept to start seeing green? Who told you the bulls will hit the market in three weeks? Or are you one of them who is bringing the bulls? I understand we are all bleeding and it is important we don't let our emotions get in the way by typing derogatory statements. I come in peace as a student of Agba and Loco combined. crownprince2017: |

With the current SP, I don't think UBA rights were taken by minority holders. I anticipate an extension of the deadline with tomorrow's holiday in mind... |

Lasts last you will end up in money market like agba after you don't wait 10 years for bottom. The results can't be different from that of your mentor. kintus: |

yMcy56:So why didn't it go through for PZ if you believe any offer they make is binding to minority shareholders. I hope u know within the contex of minority shareholders there are still majority shareholders inside it.This are the people who wen to court and senate |

Ginalex:This pz, I went through their product portfolio, that business really need serious restructuring ooooooo. Most of their products are fx dependent and most of the ones that are not are fading away with strong competition. The killer of all is that the competition in the space they play is very high. Almost all their products have strong competitors. They are only clear leaders with king oil which have small wahala.. ![]() |

kintus:It is not sustainable because u said so.i don't get it.We will still have green tomorrow |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 2:33pm On Sep 04, 2025 |
kintus:Then u have not being seeing my post. This is what I have been saying for long. I only say opposite for junks and dead businesses. The market has not fully reprised the serious devaluation and inflation on the street and not government numbers |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 2:37pm On Sep 04, 2025 |
Streetinvestor2:It didn't go thru because minority shareholders voted against the proposed price, N37.10. This is a different ball game entirely. At the Court Ordered Meeting, minority also have to vote.... If it's against, it can't fly. Remember: PZ proposed N21 initially, it was rejected......N23 rejected by minority holders... They later up it to N37.10, which was the highest price within the time AGM occured, and yet rejected again. ** Note: Majority shareholders were not allowed to vote, so it went in favor of Minority shareholders. |
