I went through traumatic childhood dUE to over religious woman called mother.
A mother that worship and cherish money more than her own kids.
I have studied this world and discovered that most people that are living good life are actually non religous people.
I stopped going to church in 2006 because I had no single clothes to wear.
I was putting on one trouser every Sunday while the woman called mother will buy clothes every Sunday and still buy for her pastors wife yet her kids wear rags to church.
My life would have been much better if I was born into non relgious home.

Good morning my dear brother. Sorry to hear your experience about such. But let me ask you a question:

The difference is that Christianity is now a religion of give and expect.

Where is the statistics? Where are your figures? You can't just wake up with an assumption an post it online for sensible peope.

God can use an atheist to work, the guy who changed my state of mind to pass an exam I already concluded before leaving my hostel I'd fail back in school wasn't a church guy, infact he was known for his notorious lifestyle, but he saw me walking slowing to the exam hall and called me by my name, he was my hostel guy, and asked me are you writing this exam? I said yes, and he told me 'you'd pass this exam'. The moment he said it my state of mind changed, even my walking step fastened up because I was already late to the hall. That was a carry over, to sum it all, I got that exam C. No accessment, not even quiz or attendance. God can use anybody bro. Forget who go Church or not.

Your assertion is very correct, coming from a religious background is a nightmare, especially when your father is a pastor..... The church itself is a business venture, all they care about is money, pastor and his wife love members with money, be it a criminal or kidnapper as far you have money, you are a good member, when I saw how the so-called church is, I quited and i also stop believing in God, God itself is just a mere word he doesn't not exist, he is just a dillusion used by pastors or prophets to strap you off your hard earned money.....

christian simply means christ like- i dont see any insult in that and there's no indication the disciples hated the word christian. Peter used it in his letters.

1 Peter 4:16:
"Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name."

FYI
so Jesus followers called themselves The way
The Jews called them Nazarene
Gnetiles called them Christians

There's nothing wrong in any of the three names.

I have never pretended to speak on behalf of Paul or even Peter. So, I am not certain why you keep pretending the man should be of importance as far as the Gospel and the Jesus Christ of Israel in this. Instead, I make clear that the term which was used in reference to the followers of Jesus Christ of Israel by the Pagans(mostly Romans who were known to hate the Jews of the time) was not a term that was endorsed by Jesus Christ, nor the God of Israel whom they followed.

2. That Peter referred to the term in his letters does not serve as an endorsement of the term. He had his reasons for using the term. Maybe he decided to use that term in addressing a situation that seemed to impact many of the followers of Jesus Christ of Israel at that time.

3. Jesus Christ of Israel knows what His followers are called by Him, and that really matters since the master of the apostles is the one who made the decisions for his servants.

4. There is nothing wrong with any of the names because the decision as far as who gets called what is up to you and not up to Jesus Christ of Israel, right? That right there is the crux of the bullsheet that is the religion of Christianity, a religion that literally hijacked a movement that belonged only to the Israelites to decide as they pleased what should matter and what shouldn't.

See, you are somewhat correct. You dont need to believe in God to prosper. You see man is made in God's image and likeness and so God has given humans a certain level of intelligence which if he exercises can give him some positive results which include wealth, scientific inventions, progress civilization etc.
So, God has already given some form of intelligence to man. It does not matter if a man acknowledges God or not he just has to exercise his God given intelligence. So the fact that an atheist prospers does not mean there is no God. In fact, cain after committing murder went and built a city.
" Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch". In fact when humans were building the tower of Babel in Genesis god said if they were not stopped, they were capable of great things. The very fact that humans were created in Gods image and likeness makes us capable of some things even if we dont believe in God. That is all. Its only that Jesus said of what use is it if a man gains the whole world and looses his soul. God just wants us to acknowledge him in all we do. Believeing in God and being successful is not a straightforward thing.
