I have seen many variants of this story many times before. The major issue to be discussed is what would cause a woman— somebody's daughter— to have her self-esteem eroded to the point that she would deprecate herself—her dignity as a human being— in that manner to save a man from the sentence he deserved?

Maybe you ask what i will do if I'm the Father of the Girl, i will simply overrule her. Which respect is she searching for? This is not her best lady, but one of may 16 bridal train, and its difficult to concede just one slot as a mark of respect for her husband, shior.
