Yeah, u am going to university of sunderland. Is there any whatsapp group for the school? I messaged the Africa manager but he said No
Nah, not yet. I’m just trying to find people so we can connect, since the university is reopening for new students on the 15th of this month. We wouldn’t want to have a boring experience over there, so I’m planning to create a WhatsApp group where we can share our experiences..

Also, when are you leaving, or are you already in the UK?

Hello Everyone

If your course is for 18 months, does your pof have to be for 18 months? Or just the standard 9 months?

Reason one has to research and really plan well in choosing course of study, to have higher chances.

My undergraduate is in Counselling Psychology, Postgraduate in Clinical Child Psychology and presently on my second skilled worker visa job with a Borough in Central London without paying a dime for both sponsorships and still getting offers for sponsorship but I am okay with my Borough here in London which pays 1.5 of what I would have earned working for NHS.
please i will like to connect with you please

Hello house, this is where we are stuck, we have tried multiple times but all our efforts have been futile. Please what is the way forward. In case it doesn't work, is there alternative? We are just not moving forward.

It doesn’t usually work on the first try. You need to find a stable spot for the chip to be scanned, then leave it there without moving it. Make sure you read the instructions it gives you, and pay close attention to pinpoint the exact area the meter reads that’s the key. Just relax and follow the instructions calmly….

Hello@josh4me

Thanks a lot.

josh4me:
You can simply open a Chipper Cash account, buy a virtual usd card (you don't need to create a usd account to get one, and it can be funded with Naira). Once you open the Chipper Cash, buy the card (I think it should be $5 for the visa card), but just know that you are funding the card at black market rate. For the Grey, you need to have an approved USD account with them (this might take time to get), so I suggest using Chipper Cash.

To use revolut, you need a friend (a trusted one o) in the UK to help create a disposable GBP card on his or her revolut bank app and send you the details. You'd send the person Naira to fund the account and then make payments with the details he gives you.

No need for another test, u are good 2 go
mostical:
Good morning, great people,
I had my TB test in February to expire August 27th in preparation of traveling to the UK last May but the admission was differed to September. For my Visa processing on August 11th, I uploaded the same TB test cert as it was still valid then and thank God my VISA was approved.
My question is, is it safe to travel with this expired TB test because I learnt immigration do ask for some of these things? Will it still be tenable or I should do another test before I travel?
Thank you.

Good evening everyone. Please i have a question around i have framed my reponse to the question on whether or not i have a national insurance number in the uk. So for context i applied and got the national insurance number but never worked with it. But in the question on whether or not i have it the answer should be yes but as i dont recall the number i felt to select no to then add an explanation as part of the additional information. Please i need help in knowing if i should frame my response better. Any guidance would be well appreciated

My intended response
I currently have a National Insurance number, but I do not recall it at the moment. I selected No because providing the number is required to continue with the application, and I have not yet worked in the UK as i returned home after completing my degree.

Is like when UK asks for interview before visa decision for students visa application, Na automatic refusal. It's crazy.

Is it advisable one appeal it or just let go? Heard most times, it's always same result
On what grounds please?
I mean the reason for the refusal!

I don't think that is true, know some people that got visas after interview. But why did you say so?

Happy new week my good people,
Please, I would appreciate if those that had recieved the UKVI message that read... "we cannot make a decision on your visa application within the established processing times", can tell us how many days/weeks it took for them to get a decision. Only primary experience needed. Thanks
