You guys can be fighting your stock picks/recommendations war. That's normal. What is not Normal is putting out incorrect information. Nobody chased OGG away. He was canversing for customers and trying to divert members to his group where he offered paid service. Even though that was not in anyway a crime/offence, it negates the whole essence of this thread.

He stopped commenting either because he has had enough customers to sustain his paid services or because he was no longer getting more customers from here. Nobody chased him away because of his stock picks.

Also, please beware that no matter how accurate your picks and predictions are there will always be people with contrary opinions. Infact even God that created the Heaven and earth human still go contrary to his commands. The only difference between the people that fronted/marketed aradel and transpower with those in Ellahlake and Oando is the emotions and intolerance attached with Oando/ellah fans nothing more.
If you guys want a non toxic space to discuss investments you can always hop over to ngxforum.com

Thanks for your candid comments.
However, let's all hope OGG and others are doing well wherever they may be.
We may never know what might have been keeping him and others away from the forum in recent times.

As regards stock picks/recommendations, as far as I am concerned, what we say/do here about any stocks cannot have significant impact on NGX because the market is too big to be influenced by NSEMPA.

Let's wait till the debt payment/debt recovery plan comes out, then you'll know it's way undervalued.

Was rejected initially and another plan is in the pipeline.

Mpeace talking about OS, how much difference does the OS of Cadbury and UNILEVER makes?
Why is Unilever with higher OS trading above Cadbury price?

CADBURY: 2.3bn OS..... Currently @N58
PZ: 3.97bn OS......... currently @31/32
UNILEVER: 5.75bn OS ........ @N70

Moreover, Cadbury also had serious debt issue before it was later sorted out.

PZ will also trade around those two's price....
When? I don't know.
If they go down, they all go down together, if they go up, they all do same.
PZ OS 4B as stated above OR 37B as stated in the story below. ?

Anybody any clarification?

Hope you remember MTN bought the defunct VGC Telecoms for some tens of millions of Naira

They could have also invested at least 1 million each, when MTN and Airtel needed roughly $300 million to start business in Nigeria.

They would have made over 20 times of that in dollars
Yes, MTN also bought most CDMA frequencies.

When Etisalat came to Nigeria, they offered to buy over RELTEL/ZOOM, but it wasn't successful.

The death of CDMA COMPANIES was predicted, because they cannot scale up due to the licence limitations.

The Stockswatch writer misplaced the decimal point in the quoted story, which means 4B is correct.

OBAGADAFFI:
They cannot adapt because the GSM(Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) licence is for the FEW BIG PLAYERS with national coverage.
That GSM(Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) licence gave them massive leverage over smaller CDMA telcos.

No CDMA company can get the Licence, even VISAFONE, which came laterr, was bought over by MTN.
Buy shares within your competitors..
Leadway insurance does it to other insurance firms.

Most tech companies do as well.
So if your business seem crash and your competitors skyrockets. You could use returns of your investments to adapt.
That's his angle.
Not necessarily buying a licence.

Lol I sabi use bid and offer table sometimes to do my own TA.All those 30% inflation na big lie for real life. Some goods and services are doing 100,2000 or even 300 percent now
Why should the market go bearish when it has not completed pricing in devaluation and inflation on the street not government statistics. Are investors who are majority locals not buying from the same market on the street for goods and services

Maximum peterichy will cash out in Japaul is N50m .
In the next one year,Japaul will become an investment stock and will no longer be a cash out stock.

This September, there will be lots of activities in Japaul and might cause a possible breakout.

Watch the volumes closely.
