That is not my point

I don't support violence

My point is simple

Uprisings or any revolt or even protest will be crushed because therr are so many saboteur in waiting ready to snitch

Its common sense

Anyone who speaks against govt

You will see almost immediately ppl coming to their defense no matter how egregious
If it's peaceful then there's no need for crushing

“Wema Bank has now surpassed the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) capital requirement for commercial banks, following the successful conclusion of its N150 billion rights issue. 🎉

With this milestone, the bank is now well ahead of the March 2026 recapitalization deadline set by CBN.

Wema Bank also disclosed that its total qualifying capital has risen to N214.7 billion, comfortably above the N200 billion regulatory threshold”.

Let tell ourselves the truth. The only language this present government understands and takes serious is vawulence. IF u go out for peaceful protest they won't take u guys serious and u won't achieve anything. The only time that worked was during gej.
So I don't expect peaceful protest if they continue causing this level of hunger, poverty and bad leadership that lacks human face.If inec tries all that happened in 2023 as per glitch/go to court. I don't expect Nigerians to take it peaceful

The link to the form is not my problem currently, I already have the personalised form. The issue is the completion of the process through payment for the rights issue.

My broker is Meristem but the form is no longer available on their link as only UBA and one other stock was there. My concern is the unavailability of CHAMS even though tomorrow is the deadline.

But come to think of it loco might be right.. if you listen to market whispers you will see reason with this his assertion. I remember vividly when japual was on full bid heading to 3.30 or so. Dying minute as at close of trade. Someone just crashed the offer to 3 naira below. I was wondering why person go do that kind thing and the motive behind it. This now makes sense. Make una no let the gbas gbos from street and co discourage you o.. for me it brings a balanced view and thinking with different hats which is also needed..i never enter japaul but i am still observing. As we no get billions make we de follow footprint of the billions.. Na so them drag ellah, e de blow roof de go. You all are needed. Loco abeg continue o, peter the chief bargain hunter you are doing well, street and Edu you are also doing well😀

Locotrader:
There is rumour that want to sell before the news.Somebody who is an insider is buying buying Japaul at below 2.70 in volumes for days now.Today he even got almost 8m units at 2.58 and 10m units at 2.66.The % it gained today does not matter. Are you Japaulised is my question to you?

For those who are looking for penny stock to deliver in September,Japaul should be your number one stock in the watchlist. This is not a matter of Loco trying to cash out.The maximum Loco will cash out is 100m units and Japaul will continue it's journey of N500B need.

Insurance stocks are consolidating at these present prices. They will breakout by September ending/October.

Better to cash out on Japaul before insurance if that is what you want in this September.

It is breakout time for Japaul

Na only watch I want people to watch ooo.
Loco has been wrong here for sometime now but this September I can't see any other penny stock set to run except Japaul. This is why I call it stand alone rally. All eyes are on it now with 100% agreement.Everything is set for the journey.
If it refuses to break the 3.50 wall this time around, shun the stock for a better penny stock, probably the insurance stocks.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 9:16pm On Sep 11, 2025
Are they actually saboteurs in the real sense of it. I think the issue is that they don't just believe in your struggle. Nigeria is an awkward conglomeration of diametrically varying ideologies, beliefs, ethnicities and cultures which eternally fuels mutual suspicion among the various groups. No matter how articulate you are in presenting whatever you feel strongly about, you may never succeed in selling it to folks who by default, read motives into your presentation. So, forget it. There can never be a sweeping protest or "revolution" in Nigeria.

These things would most likely push more activity into the informal sector. Many more people would avoid using banks and could channel their funds through other means. How does it make sense that a 70 year old grandma/papa who is not working nor receiving salaries must have tax ID to open a bank account? What is the need for tax ID when already there is NIN and BVN?
The clueless, arrogant govt. will surely leave because there is always a tenure limit, whether 4 years or 8 years.
Another thing is that the CHN and the CSCS No. will now be joined by TIN to qualify you or Street to transact any thing on the NGX.

Only if you have seen fish escape the fishing net once caught can you or Street hope to evade the Jagabanomic tax net now being spread.

@Street. You are absolutely correct about timing. before anything serious will happen in Japaul gold. I know the process in and out. As per gold, anyone waiting will wait endlessly for Japaul.
Nonetheless, I have learnt in this game that sentiments sometime drive the price solely without any sound financial. If the marketmovers are ready to move a dead carcass, they WILL . So never say never

Omo na wah for you o. The govt has already said no need for TIN if you have NIN.
Your NIN also serves as your Tax ID in 🇳🇬. This takes effect from January.
Your existing TIN remains valid. If you already have one, you do not need to register again. For those without a TIN, you will need your NIN (individuals)

Your NIN is not a direct TIN but you can easily generate your TIN at once using your NIN.

So you want all foreign investors to have tax ID's before they invest in Nigeria stocks market?
Let's stop thinking that the NGX is only for Nigerians!
It is this myopic view of successive govts that messes things up in this country.
This issue is not personal because millions of people would be affected. If the NGX crashes due to poorly thought-out policies, you and I would feel it.
