I just wish JAGABAN will ban that thing called union sef
Noooo. I don't want them to be banned. We need them because sometimes, they are the only union that is able to checkmate the govt since NLC and TUC have become virtually useless and easily compromised.
NUPENG and PENSGASAN were strong tools used by pro-democracy groups that chased the military away before we got civilian democracy.
But they have to be reasonable when economic issues like this Dangote refinery petrol and CNG is involved

NUPENG abeg REST
Dangote wan comot food from the mouth of the lazy touts at NUPENG.

I learnt they used to collect as high as N20,000 in 2015 per truck per loading.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m):
GeneralDae:
They don’t want the free fuel scheme using CNG. They want the old order even if it’s biting the consumers (they don’t care). Dangote already said those of his workers who want to join are free to join. NUPENG must also not force everyone to join or insist that their stickers be placed on the CNG trucks.
They know it can't fly, those who want to join will be the one to pay loading dues, Dangote does not want NUPENG stickers on his Trucks, interested drivers can get NUPENG ID cards

Enslave who?
Dangote that's paying tanker drivers 3x minimum wage.

Make NUPENG rest..
They want Monopoly of oil unionism.
They know non-DR drivers union membership won't affect average fuel supply or create scarcity in the country when they decide to go on strike..
This CNG direct distribution threat is also another angle.

The CNG direct distribution na the koko. It not only takes away their dues (and possibly jobs), it takes away their power when they decide to strike or cause artificial scarcity.

This is one of my concerns.! I prefer this govt. does not interfere too much with Oando because it will create a lot of controversies and problems for the company.
The public would not believe any success that the company may achieve as people would attribute it to the influence of the president. The baggage arising from such credibility deficit could be huge.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeneralDae: 3:30pm On Sep 12, 2025
Dangote is a blessing to Nigeria. This is the highest petroleum export (non crude oil) , I have ever seen. 7.7 trillion naira in Q2, 2025.

From what I see here, refined petroleum products are now second in our exports after crude oil exports, displacing agricultural products (which are usually very low).

Note: Other petroleum products may also include petroleum gases though (usual NBS terminology for gas). Probably they are broken down in the full NBS report.

They should let Oando be joor. It's nobody's fault that Oando is gaining momentum now grin

Oando should go low more so I can fill back the remaining 15%

The man Dangote is truly a blessing.
I just hope and pray he stays away from politics or vying for presidency for ever.
Abiola had similar opportunity but we lost him to politics. So sad.

What is all these words you are using?
Don't you have any decency?
Don't you have your mother, wife or sister in your family?
You need to rement.
Seek Jesus.
Ask for forgiveness.
We will pray for your soul but the way you are writing, in real life your case may not be salvageable.

NUPENG can only work if we have small petroleum tankers owners.

Most of them have between one to 5 trailers, so we have group of about 100 tanker owners servicing a petroleum products marketer like Total Energy.

So they will need a union like NUPENG, but in a situation whereby Dangote can afford to buy 4000 in order to ensure smooth running of his business and to prevent third party tanker owners to hold him to ransom. Thereby rendering NUPENG useless in his operations
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ojesymsym: 5:00pm On Sep 12, 2025
Bottomline, only Dangotte na NUPENG 2.0,, Ver 2.1 can fight all they want but it is Dangotte not some random money miss road.
