Streetinvestor2:Why not first remove the log of WOOD/OANDO in eyes before talking about Ellah lakes PLC a money spinner coy that have giving some of us over 200% profit and still counting ? You are so much concern about other people affairs while your left yours unattended Oando plc has a significant debt burden, with its total liabilities significantly exceeding its assets, resulting in negative equity and a high debt-to-equity ratio. In 2025, the company's total debt was reported as approximately ₦3.22 trillion,. With this level of OANDO huge debt. you still see it as good buy for a company that have not paid dividend over the past 10ys but you don't see Ellah lakes as a good buy... keep deceiving yourself ![]() |

kintus: Bizibi:Attached is the shareholding structure of Presco. 400k (250+ units) will place this person among the 6k investors who hold 1-1000 units out of the the entire 13k shareholders. They will belong in the 50% of shareholders by value/units. That's not bad at all, considering that there are over 100 million Nigerians who are of age to buy and own shares.

megawealth01:When someone wakes, it is that person's morning. There is still money to be made from Presco. That newbie should not be discouraged about quantity. A good stock remains a good stock. This was how I penciled down Airtel, Seplat, Dangote Cement, Bua food for a long time without buying a unit and over time their prices double, some trebled because I was worrying about how many units I will be able to buy. Lesson learnt: Buy fundamentally sound stocks irrespective of their price. It is by far better than buying in great quantity of junk stocks ![]() |

jonnysessy:You need some level of maturity to hold these kind of stocks. Maturity that makes you stay focused when some penny stocks are flying 200% mostly on the basis that just N1bn can cause a 100% rally in some of them. Whereas these ones need almost the same amount for just a price change. Think of it as magnetizing steel vs magnetizing cast iron, from what I remember one is slower to rise but is persistent, while the other rises very rapidly, but also crashes very rapidly. |

megawealth01:I'm happy for you boss. What I'm implying is that before anyone allows themselves to be discouraged due to overthinking how insignificant their shares will be in any company, they should remind themselves that we plenty wey dey the bottom of the shareholding pyramid. Nothing is too small to invest in any company. The people holding more than you today might not hold a significant fraction of what you'll own in the future. The 6000 people on that pyramid are investors, not observers. |
