The management is not serious. What is the essence of this when u are still struggling to meet recapitalisation. I was not expecting any dividend when many are not picking up the RI because it is above floor price..
Tony no think this one well
probably doesn't want the share price to fall further before QD.
So that RI price and Floor price isn't too wide to further discourage right issue.
So probably, he had to pay sth so that shareholders can hold the share price till RI is over.

0.25k is a big disappointment
RI isn't over yet.
It's a calculated attempt in my opinion.
At-all-at-all to prevent free fall of SP

So if they don't pay dividend the SP will fall. What has FBN been paying all this yrs as dividend .when did eco transnational pay dividend last
Make I look for trouble. How about kpakus that has no hope to pay dividend in the next 10 yrs.

Not necessarily because of SP but ongoing RI is still on.
Wide gap between SP and RI price won't help UBA ministry.
so they just have to pay sth.

Even Zenith wey don complete capitalization is paying from Retained Earnings.

Lol @ bolded.
They will pay b4 then.

"The CEO also revealed that the company is on course to become cashflow positive, a milestone that would pave the way for dividend payments to shareholders. “Once this is achieved, dividend distribution will become our top priority,” he assured"

Quite interesting. So now Access likely pays 1 naira while Zenith pays 1.25 naira in interim.
Yet, Zenith is priced almost 2.5X of Access.
BTW, Zenith's profit is down 13.95% YoY compared to H1 2024, but is paying out 25% more.

Updated:
Zenith wrote down over 700Bn in impairment....I see.
. Zenith Bank is paying interim dividend from retained earnings.

Any ceo can say anything. It is the possibility in the workings that shows on the financial. At what revenue/PAT do u see what he said as being possible looking at latest result/yr .You should do the maths/ logic yourself. When do u see possibility of 2 billion revenue bases on lastest results and what PAT is possible. Then u try to narrow the possible eps with the OS as that is whr the dividend will come from. Or from retained earnings. Many ceos have been saying alot that never happened concerning thr companies .

They obviously have plans and based on those plans he has projected that in the short - medium term they'll be able to generate enough revenue to start paying dividend. Certainly not a 10 year wait like you anticipate. You will soon eat your words and so will Emmanuel Ewumi and EDUECO/SpaceX

Ur emotions is what is deciding ur investment decisions and not critical thinking/reasoning
It could work if u are gambling on the stock. I have learnt that from my personal experience so no more emotions attached to any stock. The last for me was sugar

Ask SpaceX. He moves multiples of this around seemelessly. He will guide you.

He just returned from his Island to claim his loot in Dangote Refinery shares.

grin grin grin. Since i don't have Guinness, let me enjoy the ride with NB. Just like Access is suffering for UBA sins. sad sad

Lesson learnt: When a stock move in a sector, it drags some other stocks in the same sector.

NB has lagged GUINNESS for quite a while. I can recall when NB traded above GUINNESS but now look at it.

UBA doesn’t deserve this. Their H1 2025 report is good. I also wonder why Zenith is being punished.
