Drama has hit Facebook streets after Nigerian woman and self-acclaimed relationship expert, Adesola Faridah, revealed that her husband secretly married popular Facebook vendor, Eniola “Sisi Alagbo”, over the weekend.

Faridah, who is known for dishing out marriage advice online, said she only found out about the wedding when friends sent her photos circulating on social media.
According to her, both her husband and his new bride blocked her on Facebook to keep her from seeing the posts. Shockingly, she even spoke with her husband on the day of the wedding, yet he never mentioned his plans.

In an emotional Facebook post, the heartbroken woman wrote:
“She derived joy in ruining a fellow woman’s happiness, both of them blocked me on social media so that I won’t see rubbish they were doing online. Husband never told me he is getting married to her… If a man that we have been together with for about 5 years can’t treat me like this, he doesn’t worth to be my husband, Sisi Alagbo should have him.”

In another post, she added:
“Anyways I am not surprised that’s human being for you… I got to know on social media that my husband and Sisi Alagbo were getting married. I pray I heal from this pain, the pain is just too much to bear, I don’t think I deserved this from him. ALMIGHTY ALLAH HAVE MERCY ON MY SOUL.”
Old Advice Resurfaces
Ironically, Faridah once went viral in 2022 for her post titled “12 Rules to Keep Your Husband Forever.”

Some of her rules included:
✳️Never pretend to be sick to deny your husband sex.
✳️Don’t raise your voice at your husband, it’s disrespectful.
✳️Don’t expose your husband’s weaknesses to friends or family.
✳️Don’t compare him to other men.
✳️Never challenge your husband in front of the children.
✳️With this turn of events, many are now questioning the same advice she gave women about keeping their homes.

It is not the system that is the problem, though. It is the minds of millions of Nigerian women believing a system literally fashioned as a weapon against them, their lives, and children, too, can somehow be made to work for them that is at fault here.

If we check now, this woman likely did not marry her husband in the courts, but believed in her little brain that by her female wiles was all it would take to keep him from looking for anything outside of the marriage. 🥱🥱🥱
