Both the new Olubadan and Peter Obi were governors of their respective states around the same time. They would have met each other at Governors Forums and other important occasions and functions. One has to wonder why context and nuance doesn't matter to some of us who only seem to take delight in creating petty and insignificant conflicts. Surely you guys are better than this, and hopefully you will prove that you are indeed capable of rising above this standard, but we won't hold our breath waiting for you to grow up. Image 1 (Tinubu's post): "Our traditional institutions are the sacred custodians of our varied history and play a crucial role in social cohesion. They embody the resilience of our people and stand as a bridge between our proud heritage and the promise of our shared future. Today in Ibadan, as we celebrated the coronation of my brother, friend, and ally, His Imperial Majesty Oba Rasheed Adevvolu Ladoja, Arusa I, the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, I was reminded of..."

Because there's an ethnic colouration and political undertone to the scapegoating of Peter Obi in this discourse.....Most Yoruba political entities are scared sh**tless of the northerners thus most will avoid calling them out on some perceived indignities. So they will find the easy way out by attacking those that are seemingly less powerful, those they can attack and get away with....A cowardly practice, if you ask me.. |

To all my brothers always dwelling on trivia issues to attack obi. Know this today and write today's date down. Tables do turn oo and how it turns is only known to none else but God Almighty Nobody must stage any yeye protest or yell marginalisation when it happens. Ask fulanis, who behaved as if they owned Nigeria during late Buhari's administration. We are supposed to be more civilised. Gov Ladoja, now Olubadan was Peter Obi's mate as governor and the duos must have had good times together as governors. He even recognised Oba Ladoja first by the oba title in his opening statement before calling him brother, which isn't a bad thing, unlike tinubu who went straight and called him brother, someone who's supposed to know better, what culture connotes in yorubaland. That's even arrogant and against our culture, for me. Nobody knows the next hour's event, talk less of knowing what could happen tomorrow. Enough said |

This has been explained many times and Obi himself has unusually taken to correction and given a semblance of apology/explanation. https://x.com/PeterObi/status/1972179171196465455?t=asg2iyWUO-oMwROcXkprmw&s=19 Obi's son, Oseloka cannot be calling his mother dear sister, just because she's about 17years older than him. Obi is 17years younger than the Olubadan. Both Atiku and president Tinubu are closer in age to the Olubadan, and have been his seniors politically. The President and former VP are no 1 and no 2 positions in the nation. Moreover, as senators, senator Tinubu was a higher ranking senator than him. In practice and life, the trio have been close friends for decades. The same is not applicable to Obi. |

Reno is just a noisy, divisive and frautrated sycophant Both Ladoja and Obi won their Governorship elections in 2003. Both of them were impeached, both of them won their cases in court, both of them were members of Governors forum at same time. Infact Tinubu, Ladoja and Obi were all Governors in 2006 till 2007 and members of Governors forum while Atiku was a VP. Obi was the youngest Governor in Nigeria. At same age Obi was. Governor, Reno is just a political jobber looking for the highest bidder |

DiamondsAreFore:Make una rest, Peter has apologized after realizing his f up. Atiku can call Oba my brother , he was VP when Oba was governor, was at Oba 60th birthday 21 years ago Tinubu can call Oba my brother, they were governors at the same time , was at Oba 60th birthday 21 years ago and he came to the Oba rescue when PDP and Obj impeached him illegally Peter Obi cannot call Oba my brother as there has not been any brotherly activities between them until Peter wanted to run for President. H didn't even visit the Old man during his campaign in Oyo state in 2023(I stand to be corrected on this) Yet all of a sudden wants to call Oba my brother after calling people far younger than the Oba his elder brother, o wrong nau I'm happy he apologized, una rant no matter |
