They have not lost out. They are high value workers with rare talents. They have also received training abroad at the expenses of their employer.

They now have highly marketable skills and knowledge that are in top demand locally.

The loser is the employer who spent money training them abroad and now refusing to employ them in the refinery for what's reason
Lol I understand the joke is on the 800 guys
I will add that they equally now have dent on that CV .If they apply to new companies. The management may see them as trouble makers if verification is conducted before employment

OK. in context, you were creating awareness about the current worth of their depot assets.

I probably must have read a little more meaning into it than necessary. especially given their delisting situation.
It's all good.
Yes sir.

A 3rd party company will be contracted to supply workers to the refinery
The root of Nigeria's problems lies with Nigerians themselves... You echo the mindset of our leaders. Expecting people to live in poverty and be treated as second-class citizens through contract staffing is unacceptable…

Sir, I know you have money. But don’t oppress people

Nobody is saying they shouldn't unionize but not at the dentriment of other citizens, when the members has issues, does it make sense to make other Nigerians who are not part of any of the aggrieved party to suffer.?

Other citizen being affected by their moves, what is our own sin? Common, be rational bro and don't think as a potential beneficiary from the agbero unions.

Because you they fight, no light, gas price went up, small fuel scarcity in some places and you are justifying all these.

PZ

Very excellent result.
I'm particularly pleased with the aggressive reduction in the RP debts

At FY '25, amount owed related parties = ₦80,059,302,000

At Q1 '26, amount owed related parties = ₦67,720,678,000

Just not sure if it's due to reclassification, FX revaluation or outright PAYMENTS... smiley

You're spot on.

That's the exact quantity held by NCR Corporation (according to AFS '24).

We expect a corporate disclosure in the coming days...

I won't be shocked to know they left already. The company is doing very poorly...
ositadima1:
Did anybody notice that NCR traded more than 60% of its outstanding shares yesterday alone? It looks like their foreign majority holder exited. lipsrsealed

You now want to make some of us look bad because we decide to be on the side of dangota.
Now that the 800 workers have been used by the union and failed. The union will continue to feed fat from the contributions of the workers without accountability as they never make thr financials open.
Why did the union not choose to go the way of industrial court in this battle as civilised organisation. They rather preferred the way of rascality to inflict pains on Nigerians who had no business in the matter .Don't preach what u don't practice

Why must an employee be forced on an employer? As long as he pays them whatever is due to them for disengagement in line with their contract of service, there's no wrong done to them.

Just the same way an employer can't be forced on an employee

For National Security Adviser, bosses of DSS and Nation Intelligence Agency to be present at that meeting, I think they just gave someone the opportunity to save face
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 1:25pm On Oct 01, 2025
Going forward, I think government will make efforts to make sure that labour issues should never extend towards affecting critical national assets that can be detrimental to economic security, energy security etc

In fact, it will be a criminal offence

Dangote refinery gave PENGASSAN sicky 2, with this reshuffle PENGASSAN was left holding their dïcks in their hands. The anchor for the strike—sacking workers for illegal reasons—got wiped out with a masterstroke. shocked

I don't think FG will make a move. Unions will still affect critical assets if welfare demands aren't met but will most likely be on other Govt involved oil n gas businesses.
PENGASSEN, NUPENG NUEE, TUC,ASUU have all held the country to ransom at one point or the other due to companies or FG failed welfarism packages to Nigeria.

PENGASSAN to release a communique soon.

Let’s say he won at this point . Though it hasn’t ended

That’s all I will have to say on this matter.

Let’s all move on.😀😎
