@ handsomebolanle,
Why will the new guys be decieved to join the union if old guys with experience are not in the union if we go by your post
Does it mean the union used this unfortunate ones and inexperienced to fight thr dirty fight
And this is the union u talk high of that we should support .Now this innocent guys have become the fall guys.
Government need to ban them urgently
Like I said I later heard it was more of the new guys. Also to add, we wouldn’t consider most really old considering the time the refinery began functioning.
I don’t know what runs in that side of union branch… but I’m a first hand benefit of the union at my branch.
We’ve had our chairman and support of the branch chairman sit with the management to discuss workers wafare . CBA’s are been reviewed base on economic factors.
Imagine overtime that use to be Zero naira for many years made 10s- of thousands not to talk of many other perks. This is dollar industry which many employers pays in naira.

If indeed investigate proves true to be sabotage then I don’t support. If otherwise then, Dangote should have nothing to fear.

Let me add… it’s a misconception to think PENGASSAN is like other unions especially when looking at it from a perspective of the branch I belong too.

They have learnt a great lesson. They should have waited to gain valuable experience at least 5 years before allowing people who destroyed our national refineries to mislead them

I tell people, after God na your job or source of income be the most important thing.
Let’s get it straight sir.,
From Dangote and what we know now… They weren’t sacked because they joined union… infact, Dangote ascended to a freewill MOU to join union.

What we should be talking about now is the content of the whatsapp. Maybe not necessary anymore, but time will tell.

I don't think they have paid yet.
They didn't indicate any down payment, only MOU of some sort.

But if the details of the kind of acquisitions and maturity level are true, then it offers immediate prospects in no too distant future--that's impressive to me.
@EmmanuelEwumi
This agreement for acquisition will be a huge encouragement for private placement investors

A dutiful MM split the 100k units... cool
The MM should better allow PRESCO come down. In the past weeks, there's been a lot more offers (1.3m) vs few bids (200K+)
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 4:01pm On Oct 03, 2025
The origin of the dismissal was joining PENGASSAN.

If those staff didn't join the union, they would not be added to the WhatsApp group.

However, the union is not talking about the alleged WhatsApp group or the information shared therein... smiley

No, the purpose of the WhatsApp was to enrol them into PENGASSAN and the admins who are not staff were getting daily operational report about the organization from the workers

Lol So the private placement investor no get sense on what he can do with 250 billion. If u have such money will u give it to that kind management. Oga na PO and RI dey come.
The only private placement investor that will agree to bring such cash will completely take over that business. And sack all the present management and manage the new cash themselves and business

You can use the withdrawal request feature on iTrade, but be aware that the processing is still manual.

You can also just send an email to info@morgancapitalgroup.com

If you do either of these and do not get an email acknowledging your request within 2 hours, you can follow up with a call to them
Thank you Boss

Dangote offered to pay sacked workers five years salaries without work – Sources

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/business/business-news/825427-dangote-offered-to-pay-sacked-workers-five-years-salaries-without-work-sources.html

Lol. Please read the following paragraph in the report:

"He (PENGASSAN General Secretary) likened the union’s role to settling a dispute between a husband and wife, where the goal is to facilitate a resolution and allow the parties to move forward in harmony"

This is like a mediator between a man and his wife after the man had divorced the woman. The mediator's style of mediation is to put a gun to the head of the husband and threaten to blow his head off if he doesn't take the wife back. With the gun still on the man's head the mediator then would say let's negotiate.

Why are people making an issue out of it ?
At this time when Access bank is struggling with performance, shareholder returns(dividend) and CBN/SEC regulatory compliance?
It is not good optics for the bank.
By the way, why was the purchase and amount involved even disclosed? Afterall, he wouldn't be the only bank CEO that has that kind of house abroad?

If this report from Premium Times is true that PENGASSAN refused this offer, then something is wrong with them.

So being transferred to other businesses in Dangote Group is a better option.

It shows that those guys don't actually possess the so called rare talents, they don't think they have a highly marketable skills or they don't know how to multiply money
Imagine their pay is N20m per annual averagely,

It means they were offered N100m block sum without work??

If I was a staff at the refinery, I would beg to be fired.

Cos the N20m pay is just about N1.6m per month,

Whereas I would easily and consistently make , 5% on N100m without leaving my house.

And with compounding, my assets will grow faster than any potential promotion at the refinery.

Alhaji is really offering N100m or more per employee for no workhuh
