I don't know how much you got that you think it's way less. Your 7k expectation is based on maybe false calculation. 5k units of Zenith is supposed to give N6,250. If now minus withholding tax (WHT) of 10% from that amount, what will be left is N5,625.

If N5,625 is what you got then it's the right amount but if it lesser then you should contact them to balance you.
Thanks. I got 3,300. Thanks for the feedback

If you want to challenge my analysis, do it with facts, not feelings.

I’ve never seen you give one solid recommendation that worked, but when it comes to insults, your grammar suddenly improves.

Let’s keep it civil — I discuss markets, not emotions.

The next time you use offensive language, I’ll just block your account.

You don’t have to agree with me, but you can always scroll past my comment.
Firstly I never insulted you or anyone. I just simply stated that I don't agree with the recommendation, or rather that the recommendation is highly speculative since it is not backed by numbers.

Secondly, I am not here to give recommendations but rather I am here to have discussions. I sometimes state what I am about to buy in order to get the opinions of others so I can see if there is something I am not seeing in my analysis. Other times when I do what some may term as recommendation, I am simply promoting a stock which I have bought with a view to generate interest in the stock I have bought.

Finally with regards to the insult. If you feel insulted I sincerely apologize; it was not my intent.

That is the magic of ASI I don't understand till now..lol
It will even get "worse" when the refinery is listed. If it lists before NNPCL, It will be worth 35-50% of the market, depending on the valuation they push, as well as whether other businesses like the fertilizer push the existing market cap to around $70bn pre listing.

Anyday DANGREFINERY close lower, just forget it, market will be red no matter what other stocks gain 😁😁😁

Most stocks closed neutral today.
We await next week bull.
One sector must trigger the bull.
I am suspecting the insurance sector.
I was able to increase holdings today in Japaul.
Japaul is set to lead with some insurance stocks any moment from now.
Yes, the market is set to start breaking new highs. We don't yet know if this CGT issue will cause panic sales though. I hope it doesn't.

Good day everyone.
Please is Lead security and investment still in operation? I've tried getting across to them by mail but unfortunately , no reply to my mails for up to 3 weeks. I tried to login in to their App, it was futile too.
Secondly, can someone put me through how to change my stockbroker and move my shares from Lead capital?

The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) has announced the winding down of its Alternative Securities Market (ASeM) Board, effective July 1, 2025. According to the Exchange, this decision is part of an ongoing effort to streamline market segments and enhance the efficiency of listed securities.

Following the closure, eligible companies listed on the ASeM Board will be migrated to the Growth Board. Those that fail to meet the migration requirements will be delisted from the Daily Official List of the Exchange. NGX Regulation Limited (NGX RegCo) has commenced the migration of Juli Plc to the Growth Board. However, Smart Products Nigeria Plc has been marked for delisting, having failed to meet the eligibility criteria for migration.

Consequently, trading in the shares of Smart Products Nigeria Plc has been suspended, effective Wednesday, October 8, 2025, pending the completion of the delisting process.

SMURFIT set to be delisted from the Stock Market.

Juli Plc narrowly escaped delisting at this time. PennyStockChasers, be careful what you buy.

Send mail to the above. They are still in business, their response is swift
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Benbuffet: 5:27am On Oct 11, 2025
They are still in operation, Lead capital migrated to a new web interface through infoware that is supposed to make things better but it seems to have gotten worse. You can contact their customer service by email for them to give you a user ID and password but you may still not be able to place a successful trade through the infoware website. The easiest way to buy or sell right now is to email Lead customer service and follow it up with a call.

Another thing about this CGT is that it's not even going to be collected by FIRS(NRS) if you're in the market as an individual (not a company)

So one can also move to states that are less likely to have the resources to implement.

Even LIRS might yet restrict its implementation to just HNIs.

Looks like we overrated the potential impact
